In a corresponding move, the Braves have recalled IF Brandon Hicks from Triple-A Gwinnett.

In corresponding moves, the team optioned SS Brandon Hicks to Triple-A Gwinnett and recalled RP Jairo Asencio. Fantasy Tip: Already slated to sit out Friday's game, Hanson will miss at least one more start, with the placement being retroactive to June 13. Prospect Randall Delgado will replace him at least for tonight, but his matchup with the Texas Rangers limits his appeal to desperate NL-only owners. If it turns into a long absence, Mike Minor could stick in the rotation after Brandon Beachy (oblique) returns, or Julio Teheran could take Hanson's spot.

He underwent an operation Friday to clean out the infection. In a corresponding move, the team recalled SS Brandon Hicks from Triple-A Gwinnett. Prado's DL stint is retroactive to June 8. Fantasy Tip: To replace Prado, Eric Hinske will probably slide over to left field, leaving in right field left-handed hitter Matt Young, who has started the last two games there, and possibly righty Joe Mather. Hinske remains a useful spot play in deep mixed leagues. The latter two are NL-only fodder, with Young, who showed some stolen base utility in the minors, being on the optimal platoon side.
