Yankees | Four Yankees regulars sitting Friday

Fri, 22 Jul 2016 13:34:21 -0700

New York Yankees OF Jacoby Ellsbury, 1B Mark Teixeira, C Brian McCann and SS Didi Gregorius are out of the starting lineup against San Francisco Giants left-handed SP Madison Bumgarner Friday, July 22. OF Aaron Hicks is in center field and hitting eighth, 2B Rob Refsnyder is at second and batting sixth, C Austin Romine is behind the dish and hitting seventh and 2B Ronald Torreyes is at the 6 and batting ninth. Also, 2B Starlin Castro moves up to the two-hole.

Fantasy Tip: All four players sitting are left-handed, which makes since with MadBum being one of the tougher southpaws in the league. None of Hicks, Refsnyder, Romine or Torreyes should be anything more than desperation daily stabs in the tough matchup. Castro, however, might be a contrarian play with the move up the batting order given the fact he's also been swinging a hot stick.
