Tampa Bay Rays OF Wil Myers (wrist) will not need to have surgery on his right wrist. Myers will see hand specialist Dr. Douglas Carlan Tuesday, June 3, to determine how long of a recovery window he'll need. "There's nothing overtly wrong," manager Joe Maddon said. "It could be not so bad, it could be a little bit worse. We just have to wait for the doctor to tell us."

Tampa Bay Rays OF Wil Myers was in at third base in the sixth inning Monday, May 12, and he could play there more often this season. "Wil may do that during the course of the season in different moments like you saw in the five-man infield," manager Joe Maddon said. "You might see if we do a lot of crazy stuff, pinch run say for (James) Loney late in the game and here's the 10th or 11th inning."
Fantasy Tip: Will Myers see enough time there to become eligible at the position? That remains to be seen. He probably won't become dual-eligible if he's only moving to first base in the middle of games, but it's something to think about if you own him.
