Baltimore Orioles P Ryan Berry (shoulder) will have a ganglion cyst drained from his right shoulder Saturday, March 26, and is unlikely to be ready for the start of the minor league season, according to The Baltimore Sun's Jeff Zrebiec. Berry was expected to start the year at Double-A Bowie. His cyst is related to the shoulder strain he suffered while pitching for Rice University. The team hopes he can resume throwing next week.

Dean Jones Jr., of The Baltimore Sun, reports the Baltimore Orioles agreed to terms with P Ashur Tolliver (fifth round), P Randy Henry (fourth round) and P Ryan Berry (ninth round) Tuesday, Aug. 11, according to Baseball America's Jim Callis. Berry is expected to sign for $417,600.
