White Sox | Todd Frazier seeing the ball well

Tue, 24 May 2016 16:17:47 -0700

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier is 19-for-54 (.352) with seven home runs, 16 RBI, 10 walks and a 1.231 OPS in the last 15 games.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier leads the American League with 14 homers on the season and has raised his average to .243 with the recent hot stretch. He won't be helpful to your team's average, but Frazier is already well on his way to 30 home runs and could reach 100 RBI for the first time in his career, too. He's a solid upper-tier starting third baseman.

White Sox | Todd Frazier goes deep

Mon, 23 May 2016 19:55:05 -0700

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier went 2-for-3 with one home run and one RBI in the first game of a doubleheader against the Cleveland Indians Monday, May 23.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier does not have the best batting average but does have 14 home runs and 34 RBI on the season. He should be an attractive starting candidate in most leagues because of his power potential.

White Sox | Todd Frazier slams 13th homer

Sun, 22 May 2016 15:04:55 -0700

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier went 2-for-3 with a solo home run on Sunday, May 22, in a win against the Kansas City Royals.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier went eight games without a homer during the middle of last month but has been about as consistent leaving the yard as an owner could hope for in his first season in the American League. The .228 average is a bit of a buzzkill, but his 13 home runs and 33 RBI make it a bit more palatable. Frazier could very well improve on those numbers as the Cleveland Indians will use Mike Clevinger and the struggling Cody Anderson against the White Sox in a doubleheader on Monday.

White Sox | Jimmy Rollins takes a seat

Fri, 20 May 2016 12:29:25 -0700

Chicago White Sox SS Jimmy Rollins is not in the starting lineup Friday, May 20. SS Tyler Saladino is starting at shortstop and is hitting ninth against Kansas City Royals SP Dillon Gee. 1B Jose Abreu is in the two-hole, 3B Todd Frazier is hitting third and OF Melky Cabrera draws a spot in the cleanup role.

Fantasy Tip: Saladino doesn't do much at the plate and his spot at the bottom of the order makes him even less attractive to those in daily games. You can find better options at the 6 on this full slate of games. The other White Sox hitters are all recommended against Gee.

White Sox | Todd Frazier back from illness

Wed, 18 May 2016 14:37:54 -0700

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier (illness) is back in the starting lineup against Houston Astros SP Doug Fister Wednesday, May 18.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier doesn't hit for a high average (.228), but he leads the AL with 12 home runs and also has 32 RBI on top of it. He's a must-start in seasonal leagues, so get him back in there immediately. Against Fister, he's also attractive in daily formats.

White Sox | Todd Frazier was ready to pinch hit

Tue, 17 May 2016 23:31:16 -0700

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier (illness) was in the on-deck circle to pinch hit in the ninth inning Tuesday, May 17, before the game ended.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier will have 24 hours to recuperate before Wednesday's night game. He's probably questionable, but he's a daily consideration if he goes. Tyler Saladino replaced him Tuesday, and he's a fringe option if he plays against Doug Fister.

White Sox | Todd Frazier out sick

Tue, 17 May 2016 14:56:17 -0700

Updating a previous report, Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier (illness) is out sick Tuesday, May 17.

Fantasy Tip: Get Frazier out of your lineups tonight but be prepared to reinsert him if he's feeling better tomorrow. Tyler Saladino draws the start at third and is hitting ninth, but he's very limited offensively and is a desperation play in daily setups tonight.

White Sox | No Todd Frazier Tuesday

Tue, 17 May 2016 13:43:53 -0700

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier is not in the starting lineup Tuesday, May 17. SS Tyler Saladino is starting at third base and is batting ninth against Kansas City Royals SP Dallas Keuchel. OF Avisail Garcia moves up to the cleanup spot.

Fantasy Tip: It's a rest day for the Toddfather. Get him out of your lineups. Saladino is more defensively inclined and is a very weak daily pick tonight, especially hitting at the bottom of the order. Garcia has turned it on of late and is enticing as an under-the-radar daily weapon against the struggling Keuchel.

White Sox | Todd Frazier starting vs. the Yankees

Fri, 13 May 2016 13:25:40 -0700

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier (lip) is starting at third base and batting fourth against New York Yankees SP Luis Severino Friday, May 13.

Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners are happy to see Frazier back in the lineup because he is rolling at the dish of late with four home runs and 13 RBI through his past five games. Frazier remains an excellent option at the hot corner going forward.

White Sox | Todd Frazier will be OK for Friday

Wed, 11 May 2016 16:35:08 -0700

Chicago White Sox 3B Todd Frazier (lip) will be OK to play Friday, May 13, according to manager Robin Ventura. The team has an off day Thursday, May 12.

Fantasy Tip: Frazier had to leave Wednesday afternoon's game against the Texas Rangers after a dive into the stands that required stitches on his lip. This should be a relief to his fantasy owners, as he's been red hot over the past week, with four homers in his last five games. Prepare to get him back into the lineup Friday.
