Cleveland Indians SP Zach McAllister (finger) will make the first start of a rehab assignment for Triple-A Columbus, likely on Friday, July 12. Manager Terry Francona figures that McAllister will go about four innings and not throw curveballs. He'll then likely make an appearance for Double-A Akron sometime next week, and in that start, he's clear to throw the curve. He's expected to return to the rotation a few days after the All-Star break.
Fantasy Tip: Sounds as if things have gone swimmingly for the right-hander, who has pitched well for most of this season. Fantasy owners should be a little wary of some eventual corrections, however.
