The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Dejan Kovacevic reports Pittsburgh Pirates P Hunter Strickland, 20, is a 6-foot-5 right-hander with a fastball in the 88-90 mph range. He was 5-4 with a 3.35 ERA in 18 games and 12 starts at low-A Greenville. "We get a young, upside pitcher who's the type we're looking for out of the draft," general manager Neal Huntington said. "He has a good frame, good delivery and athleticism."
