Toronto Blue Jays 2B Devon Travis is not in the starting lineup against the Cleveland Indians Friday, May 1. 2B Ryan Goins is batting eighth and playing the keystone position Friday.
Fantasy Tip: Make sure to remove Travis ($5,200, 10.4% of cap) from your lineups Friday. It appears to be a rest day for the youngster, and he likely needs one, as he seems to be consistently flirting with injuries and has already dealt with a rib injury. Goins ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has limited upside, but that is reflected in his cap hit, and he 4-for-11 during his current three-game hitting streak. Still, you're digging deep and living on the edge if you're turning to Goins for your FantasyScore lineups.

Toronto Blue Jays 2B Ryan Goins is expected to serve in a platoon at shortstop with INF Jonathan Diaz while SS Jose Reyes (rib) is on the 15-day disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: Goins could be a cheap option for FantasyScore owners in the next week or two, helping to save salary to spread across other position. He doesn't have a lot of pop, but it also won't take much to earn his meager FantasyScore salary.

Toronto Blue Jays 2B Devon Travis (ribs) is not in the starting lineup again Tuesday, April 21. 2B Ryan Goins is starting at the keystone and hitting ninth in the batting order against Baltimore Orioles SP Bud Norris.
Fantasy Tip: Travis is fine and should return to the lineup Wednesday. Goins ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) is a light-hitting infield option at FantasyScore that should probably be avoided, especially while hitting at the bottom of the lineup. When Travis returns, he may not be hitting at the leadoff spot with Jose Reyes (rib) avoiding the DL. However, he's been hot and remains a solid second base option for daily gamers.

Toronto Blue Jays 2B Ryan Goins will be the starting shortstop against the Atlanta Braves Sunday, April 19.
Fantasy Tip: Goins ($1,800, 3.6% of cap) has received a handful of at-bats this season and has only one hit so far. Owners on FantasyScore should be able to find better option to use for their lineups.

Toronto Blue Jays 2B Ryan Goins replaced SS Jose Reyes (ribs) Thursday, April 16, against the Tampa Bays Rays, after Reyes left the game due to soreness.
Fantasy Tip: Goins was called up by the Blue Jays Thursday and was forced into action sooner than the Jays would've hoped. Goins picked up a hit in his relief appearance, but is far better known for his defensive play. Goins hit just .188 in 193 major league plate appearances last season and should be left alone on FantasyScore as well as in season-long fantasy formats.

Toronto Blue Jays INFs Ryan Goins, Munenori Kawasaki and Steven Tolleson are each candidates to either be optioned or designated for assignment Tuesday, Aug. 5. The team needs to make a corresponding move after activating 3B Brett Lawrie (finger).
Wed, 23 Jul 2014 13:25:40 -0700
Toronto Blue Jays 2B/3B Brett Lawrie (finger) will require a rehab assignment before coming off the disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: His owners will have to be patient. At the keystone in the meantime, it's a mess between Munenori Kawasaki, Ryan Goins and maybe Steven Tolleson.
