They were accompanied on the post-season All-Star team by Cincinnati Reds C Devin Mesoraco, Pittsburgh Pirates 1B Matt Hague, Cleveland Indians 2B Jason Kipnis, Reds SS Zack Cozart, Braves OF Stefan Gartrell, Pirates OF Alex Presley, Chicago White Sox OF Dayan Viciedo, New York Yankees DH Jorge Vazquez, Indians IF Luis Valbuena and Pirates RP Tim Wood.

Cleveland Indians 2B Jason Kipnis went 3-for-5 with a double, triple, three runs scored and two RBIs Saturday, Sept. 17, against the Minnesota Twins. He has hit safely in eight straight games.

Cleveland Indians 2B Jason Kipnis (hamstring) was lifted early Tuesday, Sept. 6, against the Detroit Tigers, but manager Manny Acta said it was a precaution since the game was out of hand.

Cleveland Indians manager Manny Acta said 2B Jason Kipnis (hamstring) will be eased back into full health. "Kipnis is basically rehabbing at this level," Acta said. "He will play tonight, but not tomorrow. We will have to give him time off."

The Cleveland Indians activated 2B Jason Kipnis (hamstring, oblique) from the 15-day disabled list Tuesday, Sept. 6. Also, the team recalled 2B Luis Valbuena from Triple-A Columbus.

Updating previous reports, Cleveland Indians 2B Jason Kipnis (oblique, hamstring) said his oblique feels great, and he has turned the corner with his hamstring. He's sprinting and hitting off a tee and hopes to return next week.
