Minnesota Twins SP Vance Worley decided to lose some weight in the offseason, and he said he dropped 28 pounds with hopes of entering camp in much better shape. Worley is weighing in at 230 pounds as he battles for the No. 5 spot in the starting rotation. He's also out of minor league options.

However, Gibson might need more developmental time in his first full season back from Tommy John surgery, so P.J. Walters is likely a more realistic candidate for promotion.
