Rockies | Nolan Arenado has 16-game hit streak

Mon, 29 Jun 2015 22:50:31 -0700

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado went 1-for-4 Monday, June 29, against the Oakland Athletics to push his hitting streak to 16 games. His hitting streak is the longest active run in the majors.

Fantasy Tip: Arenado ($6,100; or 12.2% of cap) has been on fire lately, especially in the power categories. Keep rolling with him in FantasyScore until he cools off significantly.

Rockies | Nolan Arenado hitting everywhere

Mon, 29 Jun 2015 13:43:35 -0700

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado leads all of baseball with 15 home runs on the road this season. He has nine home runs at home. In 2014, 16 of his 18 home runs came at Coors Field.

Fantasy Tip: It's just another indication that Arenado ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) is quickly transitioning to an elite fantasy level as a third baseman. He should be a daily consideration for your lineups on FantasyScore, although playing at pitcher-friendly O.co Coliseum this week lowers his value a tad.

Sat, 27 Jun 2015 04:30:56 -0700

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado extended his hitting streak to 13 games Friday, June 26, against the San Francisco Giants.

Fantasy Tip: Arenado ($5,800, 11.6% of cap) has been an incredibly bright spot in an otherwise so-so season for the Rockies. He remains a must-play in FantasyScore formats, with 21 home runs and a career-best 64 RBIs. Barring injury, he shows no signs of slowing down.

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado went 1-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI Wednesday, June 24, against the Arizona Diamondbacks to push his hitting streak to 11 games.

Fantasy Tip: Arenado ($5,800; or 11.6% of cap) has the longest active hitting streak in the National League. He is hitting .372 (16-for-43) with four homers, 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored during his impressive run, pleasing FantasyScore owners.

Rockies | Nolan Arenado parks two

Tue, 23 Jun 2015 23:51:26 -0700

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado hit two home runs Tuesday, June 23, to give him a new career-high 19 on the season.

Fantasy Tip: The rest of Arenado's numbers are on par with what he did last year, he's just driving more balls out of the park. So there's no reason to believe this can't continue. At $5,800 (11.6% of cap), he'll cost a pretty penny, but he's paying dividends on FantasyScore.

Rockies | Nolan Arenado homering often

Mon, 01 Jun 2015 11:20:08 -0700

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado is homering in 6.3% of his plate appearances this season, which is the highest percentage by a third baseman in team history since Vinny Castilla's 6.6% mark in 1998.

Fantasy Tip: Arenado ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) hit .275 (28-for-102) with nine home runs and 22 RBI in the month of May. Even more impressive is the fact that only two of his 12 homers this year have come at hitter-friendly Coors Field. That just goes to show that the youngster's power plays anywhere, so don't downgrade him at FantasyScore when he's traveling.

Rockies | Nolan Arenado swinging hot bat

Sat, 30 May 2015 18:29:08 -0700

Fantasy Tip: Arenado ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) was a bit slow out of the gate, but he is making up for lost time in a big way. Stick with his hot bat at FantasyScore until he cools off.

Rockies | Nolan Arenado launches another jack

Wed, 27 May 2015 14:48:07 -0700

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado hit his 10th home run of the season during the Rockies' 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds Wednesday, May 27.

Fantasy Tip: It was Arenado's ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) third home run over his past four games, and his recent surge has his season slash line up to .287/.331/.549. He is an emerging star in the real and fake game, and Arenado could hit his way to third base's top tier. He is worth considering for FantasyScore usage whenever the Rockies play at Coors Field or face a favorable pitching matchup.

Rockies | Nolan Arenado surging

Mon, 25 May 2015 19:03:21 -0700

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run in a 5-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds Sunday, May 25, and he is 7-for-9 with two home runs, seven RBIs and four runs scored over his last two games.

Fantasy Tip: Arenado ($5,500, 11.0% of cap) had been stuck in a rough patch, but he has erupted in the last two games. With Colorado facing the slumping Cincinnati Reds for a couple more games, you may want to jump on the Arenado bandwagon at FantasyScore.

Rockies | Nolan Arenado out vs. Phils

Thu, 21 May 2015 09:35:45 -0700

Colorado Rockies 3B Nolan Arenado is not in the starting lineup Thursday, May 21. 2B Daniel Descalso is starting at the hot corner and hitting eighth in the batting order against Philadelphia Phillies SP Jerome Williams.

Fantasy Tip: Descalso ($1,600, 3.2% of cap) is hitting under .200 (9-for-46) and has very little offensive upside. Look elsewhere for your second baseman.
