Washington Nationals OF Bryce Harper will stick in left field all season, according to manager Matt Williams. For his career, Harper has played 858 1/3 innings in left field, 776 2/3 innings in center and 546 2/3 innings in right.
Fantasy Tip: The permanent move to left field should help keep Harper healthier than if he was rotating between all three outfield positions. Still, his style of play will continue to make him an injury risk. The good news if that his knees haven't been an issue this spring.

Washington Nationals manager Matt Williams seemed to indicate Wednesday, Feb. 19, that he is leaning toward batting OF Bryce Harper in the fifth spot of the order. He feels Harper would see plenty of RBI opportunities while protecting the third and fourth hitters while being able to run more often.
Fantasy Tip: Fantasy owners would be glad with more RBI chances, but batting down the order a tad from where he has been would mean a bit of a reduction in at-bats. It is likely to be a wash, but something to monitor as the spring goes on. Harper remains a solid fantasy pick in the area of late first round to anywhere in the second or early third on draft day.
