Washington Nationals OF Bryce Harper, who is 4-for-28 with one extra-base hit, four walks and 11 strikeouts since returning from the disabled list, said he knew it would take time to get his timing back. Manager Matt Williams has noticed Harper being jumpy at the plate. "He's close," Williams said. "He popped that ball up (Wednesday) night. He was right on that one. He's right on the other pitches, too. His second at-bat last night was a first-pitch changeup. His path was good. His timing was good. It was just a changeup. It's coming. I know he doesn't want to hear that but he really is coming."
Fantasy Tip: Harper should remain in your starting lineups, as he could start to break out at any moment.

Washinton Nationals OF Bryce Harper, 3B Ryan Zimmerman and C Wilson Ramos have combined for just three home runs in 306 plate appearances since their respective returns from the disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: Ramos and Harper should begin to see a few more balls clearing fences, as they get a few more at-bats and gain confidence and comfort at the plate. Zimmerman's shoulder injury has zapped his power in the past, so fantasy owners should begin to be a little concerned about him going forward.

Washington Nationals OF Bryce Harper is hitting sixth in the order for the third straight game Wednesday, July 2, but manager Matt Williams said Harper will eventually move up in the lineup. Williams doesn't want to put extra pressure on Harper right now after he just returned from the disabled list.
Fantasy Tip: Harper's placement in the lineup shouldn't affect his value drastically. Obviously, he should get better pitches to hit the lower he is, which is why Williams has him there initially.

Washington Nationals 3B Ryan Zimmerman is back at third base Monday, June 30, with OF Bryce Harper back from the disabled list and starting in left field. 2B Anthony Rendon is moving back to second base, and 2B Danny Espinosa is on the bench. Zimmerman made strong throws from a three-quarters release point during infield practice at third base.
Fantasy Tip: As was mentioned earlier, Espinosa is the biggest loser with Harper returning from the DL. Unless another regular needs rest, expect Espinosa to stay on the bench in the regular lineup.

The Washington Nationals activated OF Bryce Harper (thumb) from the disabled list Monday, June 30, and optioned RP Xavier Avery to Triple-A Syracuse in a corresponding move.
Fantasy Tip: The return of Harper is expected to push Ryan Zimmerman back to third base and possibly some time at first base. Manager Matt Williams will mix and match when he wants to rest players. The biggest loser of Harper's return is probably Danny Espinosa, though.
