P Jonathan Arias, P Logan Bawcom, P Jeremy Bonderman, SP Andrew Carraway, P Danny Farquhar, C John Hicks, 1B Mike Jacobs, SS Brad Miller, SP D.J. Mitchell, P Brian Moran, INF Stefen Romero and RP Carson Smith are the other players invited to camp.

Updating previous reports, the Seattle Mariners offered SP Taijuan Walker, SS Nick Franklin, P Charlie Furbush and possibly RP Stephen Pryor for Arizona Diamondbacks OF Justin Upton. Upton invoked his no-trade clause.

Updating a previous report, the Arizona Diamondbacks would have received three or four players from the Seattle Mariners for OF Justin Upton. RP Charlie Furbush, RP Stephen Pryor and SS Nick Franklin were believed to be part of the trade. The Mariners likely would have also given up either SP Taijuan Walker, SP Danny Hultzen or P James Paxton.

RP Charlie Furbush, RP Stephen Pryor and SS Nick Franklin were believed to be part of the trade. The Mariners likely would have also given up either SP Taijuan Walker, SP Danny Hultzen or P James Paxton.

The Seattle Mariners are open to trades. However, they are unwilling to part with SP Felix Hernandez, 2B Dustin Ackley, 3B Kyle Seager, P Taijuan Walker, SP Danny Hultzen, SP James Paxton and SS Nick Franklin.

The Seattle Mariners will promote SS Nick Franklin and SP Danny Hultzen from Double-A to Triple-A Tacoma. The front office confirmed the move Tuesday, June 19. The team will announce the move sometime Wednesday, June 20, or Thursday, June 21, as the team wants to allow both players to take part in the Southern League All-Star game Tuesday.
