Astros | Max Stassi in lineup Tuesday

Tue, 01 Sep 2015 14:11:06 -0700

Houston Astros C Max Stassi is in the lineup Tuesday, Sept. 1, against the Seattle Mariners.

Fantasy Tip: Stassi was called up from Class AAA earlier in the week when C Jason Castro went on the 15-day disabled list. He may be a decent source of low-cost production depending on how much he plays in Castro's absence.

Astros | Jason Castro placed on DL

Sat, 29 Aug 2015 14:29:13 -0700

Houston Astros C Jason Castro (quadriceps) was placed on the 15-day disabled list because of a quadriceps injury. The team also recalled C Max Stassi from Class AAA Fresno.

Fantasy Tip: Hank Conger ($2,800, 5.6% of cap) probably will receive most of the starts with Castro out of the lineup. Conger is hitting only .215 this season and is not a great option on FantasyScore.

The Houston Astros moved C Max Stassi (concussion) from the 7-day disabled list to the 15-day disabled list Thursday, Sept. 5.
