The Arizona Diamondbacks activated OF Chris B. Young (shoulder) from the 15-day disabled list Friday, May 18, and optioned OF A.J. Pollock to Triple-A Reno in a corresponding move. Young went 4-for-15 with three doubles, a homer and eight RBIs in four rehab games with Single-A Visalia and Reno.

Arizona Diamondbacks OF A.J. Pollock made a pinch-hitting appearance Monday, April 23, against the Philadelphia Phillies, and he collected his first major league hit with a single to right field in the eighth inning.
