It won't change his fantasy value drastically as a top-tier outfield option, but it will make his RBI totals suffer somewhat.

Fantasy Tip: Pollock was a fantasy all star last season and returned 111 runs, 20 home runs, 76 RBI and 39 stolen bases with a .315/.367/.498 slash line. Given his 2015 numbers, it is no wonder Arizona wants to keep him around. However, it wouldn't be surprising to see him fail to duplicate his return from last season, so be hesitant to reach for him too early in drafts and count on those numbers. He checks out as a fringe No. 1 outfielder, though.

Diamondbacks | Arizona discussed Shelby Miller

Tue, 17 Nov 2015 15:16:35 -0800

The Arizona Diamondbacks had trade talks involving Atlanta Braves SP Shelby Miller, but the talks did not progress, according to sources. The Braves wanted a piece from Arizona's major-league core, and it may have been OF A.J. Pollock, who is under team control for three more years like Miller.

Fantasy Tip: Miller had a heck of a season for Atlanta in 2015, posting an ERA of just 3.02 in 205 1/3 innings, but he was incredibly unlucky and was 6-17 on the year. If any of your league mates dock Miller for his record in 2016 fantasy drafts, be sure to pounce on him to bolster your pitching staff. The best thing for Miller's fantasy value would be to stay in Atlanta.
