Cleveland Indians SP Jeanmar Gomez allowed just one unearned run, three hits and three walks over seven innings in a no-decision Monday, May 14, against the Minnesota Twins. Gomez left with a 4-1 lead, but the bullpen frittered away a lead in the bottom of the eighth inning before the offense bailed the team out with a game-winning run in the top of the ninth.

Cleveland Indians SP Jeanmar Gomez allowed three earned runs, eight hits and a walk over seven innings in a win Friday, May 4, against the Texas Rangers. He also struck out two batters in the 90-pitch quality start. Gomez has back-to-back quality starts, and he has won two of his past three outings. "Gomez was terrific against such a great lineup that the Rangers put up there," Acta said. "He gave us a great seven innings."

Cleveland Indians SP Jeanmar Gomez dropped his appeal of a five-game suspension after his outing Saturday, April 21, against the Oakland Athletics. As such, his next scheduled start will come Saturday, April 28, against the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.

Cleveland Indians SP Jeanmar Gomez has been suspended for his involvement in a bench clearing incident against the Kansas City Royals Saturday, April 14. He will appeal the suspension and will make his next scheduled start.

Cleveland Indians SP Jeanmar Gomez was ejected in the third inning Saturday, April 14, against the Kansas City Royals. He hit 3B Mike Moustakas with the second pitch of the third inning, touching off a benches-clearing fracas. It was the first ejection of Gomez's career.
