The Seattle Mariners have asked Detroit Tigers hitting coach Lloyd McClendon for a second interview for their vacant managerial position, according to sources, and he met with team officials Sunday, Nov. 3. Chip Hale is set for a second interview Monday, Nov. 4. The M's are also believed to be considering Tim Wallach and Joey Cora for the job, and Rick Renteria is also a finalist. Ron Wotus and Dave Valle aren't believed to have made it to the second round of interviews.

Los Angeles Dodgers third base coach Tim Wallach will interview for the Seattle Mariners' vacant managerial position, according to sources. Wallach has already interviewed for the manager's position with the Detroit Tigers this offseason. The M's have also looked at San Francisco Giants bench coach Ron Wotus, Oakland Athletics bench coach Chip Hale, San Diego Padres bench coach Rick Renteria and Detroit Tigers hitting coach Lloyd McClendon.
