Lions | Goltz could get into training camp

Carlos Monarrez, of the Detroit Free Press, reports undrafted rookie free-agent QB Justin Goltz (Occidental College) could have a chance at getting into training camp with the Detroit Lions. Head coach Jim Schwartz said, "I don't think he was out of place. I've been around a lot of NFL training camps, and you worry about a guy when he's coming from a small level or lower level of competition like Occidental. But I think he came in and he did well out here." Goltz also has an offer to play this fall for the San Francisco franchise of the new United Football League.
