The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have released CB Brandon Anderson, S Vince Anderson, RB Carlos Brown, G Marc Dile, T Xavier Fulton, DE George Johnson, TE Jeron Mastrud, LB Rico McCoy, DT Dre Moore, DT Carlton Powell, TE Ryan Purvis, C Donovan Raiola, CB Derrick Roberson, DE James Ruffin, FB Rendrick Taylor, CB Trae Williams, and QB Jevan Snead have been released, reports Buccaneers.com. C Jonathan Compas (undisclosed) was waived/injured.

Charlie Campbell, of PewterReport.com, reports the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have signed CB Brandon Anderson, CB Jamar Love, CB Stoney Woodson, DE Josh Leonard, SS Emanuel Cook, LB Lee Robinson, OG Marc Dile and FB Jehuu Caulcrick to futures contract. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. All eight players finished the season on the Buccaneers' practice squad.

Charlie Campbell, of PewterReport.com, reports Tampa Bay Buccaneers CB Aqib Talib (hamstring) did not practice Friday, Dec. 4, and is listed as questionable for Week 13. CB Ronde Barber would likely see more action against Carolina Panthers WR Steve Smith if Talib is unable to start. The team would also ask CBs Elbert Mack, Derrick Roberson and Brandon Anderson to fill the void. They are unlikely to move FS Tanard Jackson to cornerback.
