Lions | Statement from team on Ndamukong Suh

Fri, 25 Nov 2011 22:24:35 -0800

The Detroit Lions released a statement Friday, Nov. 25, calling the actions of DL Ndamukong Suh in the Week 12 game "unacceptable." Suh was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct, and ejected, after repeatedly slamming the head of Green Bay Packers C Evan Dietrich-Smith to the turf, and then stomping on his arm after the two were tangled up on a third-down play. "The on-field conduct exhibited by Ndamukong Suh that led to this ejection from yesterday's game was unacceptable and failed to meet the level of sportsmanship we expect from our players," the statement read.
