Chicago Bears DE Israel Idonije, TE Greg Olsen, PK Robbie Gould, DL Matt Toeaina, CB D.J. Moore, OG Johan Asiata and FB Eddie Williams were among the players working out at the team's complex Friday, April 29.

The team plans to begin their voluntary offseason workout program Monday, May 9, and will start mandatory minicamps for rookies the following weekend. The entire squad will report for minicamp from June 3-5.

Chicago Bears OG Johan Asiata has gotten some reps with the first-team offense during the team's minicamp, reports Vaughn McClure, of the Chicago Tribune. Offensive line coach Mike Tice said, "Where I was surprised and where he earned my respect and gained more reps is that I thought when the lights came on and we started working against the defense ... I thought it might be a little too fast for him right now and maybe there were some things he had to sort out. I thought maybe things would be moving a little too quick for him, but it didn't turn out that way."
