Richard Petty Motorsports announced Tuesday, Oct. 30, that crew chief Drew Blickensderfer will serve as the crew chief for Marcos Ambrose. Blickensderfer spent the Sprint Cup season working with Richard Childress Racing driver Jeff Burton. Blickensderfer will be replacing crew chief Mike Ford, who will no longer be with the organization.

Updating a previous item, Richard Childress Racing crew chief Drew Blickensderfer has officially been named the crew chief for driver Jeff Burton starting next season. Blickensderfer was previously serving as the crew chief for driver David Ragan.

Roush Fenway Racing crew chief Drew Blickensderfer, the crew chief for driver David Ragan, is expected to leave the team to serve as the crew chief for Richard Childress Racing driver Jeff Burton starting next season. RFR has no plans to run Ragan's team in the 2012 Sprint Cup season.

Roush Fenway Racing crew chief Donnie Wingo is being replaced by Drew Blickensderfer as driver David Ragan's new crew chief in the Sprint Cup Series, according to SceneDaily.com's Bob Pockrass. The change will take effect this weekend in the Cup race at Dover International Speedway.

Bob Pockrass, of SceneDaily.com, reports Roush Fenway Racing driver Matt Kenseth said he initiated the replacement of former crew chief Drew Blickensderfer, saying he didn't show the leadership skills or the chemistry that the team needed.

Roush Fenway Racing has named Todd Parrott the crew chief for driver Matt Kenseth and the No. 17 car for the 2010 Sprint Cup season. Parrott will take over the role immediately. Former crew chief Drew Blickensderfer will take a role in the team's research and development department.

SceneDaily.com reports Roush Fenway Racing crew chief Drew Blickensderfer, the crew chief for driver Matt Kenseth and the No. 17 Ford, was named the Wypall Wipers Crew Chief of the race for the Sprint Cup AAA 400 at Dover International Speedway Sunday, Sept. 27.
