Houston Texans WRs Keshawn Martin and DeVier Posey are among several receivers battling for roster spots. WRs Trindon Holliday, Juaquin Iglesias, Jerrell Jackson, Mario Louis and Jeff Maehl are also in the mix, and the team is expected to sign a couple more veteran receivers to compete. "I like this group," head coach Gary Kubiak said. "I like their ability. They've come a long way (in six OTAs)."

Iglesias added five pounds to reach 200 this offseason, but he'll likely need to beat out WRs Rashied Davis and Eric Peterman to make the final roster.

Brad Biggs, of The Chicago Sun-Times, reports Chicago Bears general manager Jerry Angelo hasn't ruled out signing a veteran wide receiver. However, because of his comments during a radio show on Mulley and Hanley on 670-AM, it seems unlikely. The Bears drafted three receivers - Juaquin Iglesias (third round), Johnny Knox (fifth) and Derek Kinder (seventh) - and Angelo is counting on WR Earl Bennett to emerge. Angelo said he told head coach Lovie Smith he feels good about the three rookies and doesn't feel near the need to go out and add a receiver post-draft as he did before it.
