New Orleans Saints P Thomas Morstead (shoulder) underwent surgery to repair a shoulder injury, a source told Bradley Handwerger, of WWLTV.com. Morstead suffered the injury in a preseason game but was able to play with the injury.

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton said Monday, Dec. 6, that PK Garrett Hartley will remain on kickoffs, reports NewOrleansSaints.com. "We'll keep working Garrett and working his location. We do have P Thomas Morstead that can do that as well, but I think more than anything it's just improving the coverage aspect of it," Payton added.
