Minnesota Vikings FS Mistral Raymond and SS Jamarca Sanford finished the season as starters at safety, but Sanford is not considered more than a special teams player, and Raymond needs more development. Free-agent SS Husain Abdullah (concussion) ended the season on Injured Reserve. The team has interest in bringing him back.
