S Mike C. Adams (back) fully practiced and is questionable. CB Jalil Brown (ankle) and WR Joshua Cribbs were limited in practice and are questionable. CB Vontae Davis (concussion), OT Xavier Nixon (foot) LB Andy Studebaker (hamstring) and OG Hugh Thornton (knee) all did not practice and have been ruled out.

OG Donald Thomas (knee), returning from a torn ACL, is expected to man one guard spot, while OGs Lance Louis and Hugh Thornton will battle for the other guard position. The most intriguing position may be center, where the team seems to want C Khaled Holmes to beat out recent addition Phil Costa for the starting role.

Updating previous reports, Miami Dolphins OG Lance Louis' one-year deal is worth $1,603,750, but he's only guaranteed a $100,000 signing bonus. The contract includes a roster bonus of $763,750 - presumably based on him making the Week 1 roster - and has a base salary of $715,000. Louis also has a "split salary" of $368,000 what the Dolphins will only have to pay him if he lands on Injured Reserve during the season. He also has a workout bonus of $25,000.
