The Miami Dolphins have waived CB Anderson Russell, OT Will Barker, OT Ray Feinga, OT Andrew McDonald, OT Lydon Murtha, DT Isaako Aaitui, LB Shelly Lyons, WR Jeff Fuller, WR Clyde Gates, WR Chris Hogan and OG Chandler Burden. The team also waived injured Jarrell Root (undisclosed).

Miami Dolphins OL Ray Feinga made the start at left tackle in place of OT Jake Long (knee) in the preseason finale Wednesday, Aug. 29, against the Miami Dolphins. That was expected. However, OL Chandler Burden started for Richie Incognito, Ryan Cook started for Mike Pouncey and John Jerry supplanted Artis Hicks in the starting lineup.
