Free-agent WR Austin Collie (knee) is doing plenty of pool work, leg weight work, and some light running in his rehab from knee surgery. His goal is to be 100 percent ready by the time he reports to training camp for his new team, although it might take until October or so until he is full speed again.

Indianapolis Colts WR Austin Collie (concussion) and OT Winston Justice (concussion) were each cleared early last week, but they did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 12, through Friday, Sept. 14, nor did they play in Week 2. However, Justice took part in the team's walk-through Monday, Sept. 17, and appears likely to return in Week 3 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Collie is considered day to day, according to head coach Chuck Pagano.

Updating a previous report, Don Yee, the agent for Indianapolis Colts WR Austin Collie (concussion), said it is incorrect to assume that his client had a concussion during the preseason game Sunday, Aug. 19, against the Pittsburgh Steelers. "He's going through the normal protocal," Yee said. "We just don't know yet (whether he has a concussion)."
Fantasy Tip: While it's unknown if he actually suffered a concussion, Collie's previous history with head injuries doesn't bode well for his prognosis. If he did suffer a concussion, it'd be his fourth concussion in the last 21 months. A very poised and polished Andrew Luck was making Collie an undervalued commodity late in drafts this preseason, but you may want to think twice before making him a late-round selection now. Obviously, keep tabs on Collie's concussion tests.

"Before I was more like the security blanket," Collie said Sunday, July 29. "Now I am going to focus more on being able to make the big play down the field. Indianapolis Colts QB Andrew Luck said he is hoping to work out with WR Austin Collie in California between now and June and has offered to travel to Miami so he can work with WR Reggie Wayne and rookie WR T.Y.
