Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden said he is not sure how he will be using RBs BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Bernard Scott but could use the hot hand each game. "I don't know what it will be," Gruden said. "But (BJGE) deserves to carry the ball. B.Scott deserves more carries…If a guy gets hot, he'll get the carries…They both understand that."

Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Jay Gruden is not opposed to going with a platoon at running back in 2012, with RB Cedric Benson logging at least 270 carries in the last three seasons. Benson will become a free agent next month, and the team also has RBs Bernard Scott, Brian Leonard and Cedric Peerman. Cincinnati is likely to select a running back in the draft this year, too.

The Bengals are last in the NFL with just two runs of at least 15 yards this season, and the team has just one run of 28 or more yards, which happened back in Week 1.
