The Dallas Cowboys released PK David Buehler. Buehler was a fifth-round draft choice in 2009 and finishes his career with the Cowboys hitting 24-of-32 field goals and 42-of-44 extra points. As a kickoff specialist, he had a total of 60 touchbacks. He spent most of the 2011 season on Injured Reserve with a groin injury.

Dallas Cowboys PK David Buehler (groin) had his conditioning questioned earlier this month by owner/general manager Jerry Jones. The team placed Buehler on Injured Reserve Nov. 10 due to a torn muscle in his groin. "I am in shape," Buehler said Wednesday, Nov. 23, although he said he didn't want to get into a back-and-forth with Jones.
