The Associated Press reports former NFL RB Travis Henry is in federal custody for violating conditions of his bond. Tampa (Fla.) U.S. Magistrate Judge Mark Pizzo ruled Tuesday, May 19, that Henry violated bond conditions set by a Montana judge when he consumed alcohol.

The Associated Press reports unrestricted free-agent RB Travis Henry (Broncos) has signed a plea deal with prosecutors in which he will admit to a single charge of conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute. The remaining charge carries a mandatory 10 years to life in prison, a $4 million fine and five years of supervised release.

The Associated Press reports former NFL RB Travis Henry has reached a plea agreement in a federal drug case. However, it is not known which charges Henry plans to admit to. A change-of-plea hearing has been set for April 16. Henry was previously charged with conspiracy to possess cocaine with intent to distribute, two counts of possession with intent to distribute and distribution of cocaine.

Don Germaise, of WFTS-TV, reports former NFL RB Travis Henry (Broncos) has been put behind bars for failure to pay child support. Henry, who was jailed a week ago, must spend 179 days in jail unless he is able to come up with $16,600 in back child support. He is officially charged with contempt of court. He is awaiting trial on federal drug charges after an arrest in September.

The Associated Press reports former NFL RB Travis Henry was released from jail after posting a $400,000 bond on federal drug charges. The U.S. attorney's office said Thursday, Oct. 9, Henry must remain in his home, where he will be monitored electronically. He is not allowed any contact with co-defendant James Mack. Mack is scheduled to appear in court Friday, Oct. 10, to post $10,000 bond. He will also be subject to home detention and electronic monitoring.

The Associated Press reports Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan said he was troubled by the recent arrest of free-agent RB Travis Henry (Broncos) after an alleged cocaine deal. "Obviously, when a guy gets an opportunity, you're hoping that he is going to take advantage of it from a football side," Shanahan said. "And when he didn't do the things that he was supposed to do during the offseason program, obviously, we released him. But for him to experience what he's experienced right now, I wouldn't wish that on anybody and it's really a shame."

The Drug Enforcement Administration says Henry is being held pending the filing of federal drug charges in federal court Wednesday, Oct. 1, in Denver.
