The Jaguars don't expect to have Knighton until at least training camp, but his progress could affect that timetable.

Jacksonville Jaguars DL Terrance Knighton (eye) currently has 20/60 vision in his left eye after having only 20/100 vision after his first two surgeries. He's expected to miss three months but hopes to be ready for training camp. Knighton is planning to working with conditioning coach Josh Hingst to keep his weight down during inactivity.

Updating a previous report, Jacksonville Jaguars DT Terrance Knighton (eye), who injured his eye in an incident outside a Jacksonville nightclub Sunday, April 8, "repeatedly made threats to shoot people," according to a police officer. Knighton could face discipline. Knighton reportedly was hit in the face with a bottle of liquor and didn't start the altercation.

Jacksonville Jaguars DL Terrance Knighton (eye) sustained an eye injury while in or around the Jacksonville night club Pure early Sunday, April 8. Knighton is in good spirits awaiting doctor's visits, according to his mother. "He's doing good," Rochelle Knighton said. "He's doing good. We're not really sure (the extent of the injury). He did have surgery yesterday, we won't know a little more until we go see the doctor today. He's in good spirits."

Jacksonville Jaguars DL Terrance Knighton has slimmed down considerably over the offseason. "I'm in the best shape I've been in since reporting as a rookie," Knighton said. "The number is a lot … lower than checking in last year when I came back during camp the high (360s), maybe even low (370s). I'm 20 pounds less than that. They're happy where I am."
