Aldon Smith, Brown and Miller were limited during practice Friday, Jan. 18, while the other players fully participated in practice.

Boone, Bowman, Iupati, Rogers, Willis and Goldson were full participants in practice Friday, Dec. 21, while all of the others except for Spillman were limited. Spillman did not practice at all.

San Francisco 49ers OT Alex Boone has received some praise for his stellar play this year at right guard. "He's come along really well, he's learning every week," offensive coordinator Greg Roman said of Boone. "You see a lot of different styles of defender, a lot of different styles of defense and Alex is the kind of guy we want, a guy that's pushing to get better very week. So he's doing a great job. When he gets out in space, he can get rolling, a bit like an 18-wheeler going down a hill."

San Francisco 49ers OT Joe Staley (concussion) will be a game-time decision for Week 7 because of the concussion he suffered Week 6. OT Alex Boone would start at left tackle if Staley is not about to play.

If San Francisco 49ers OT Joe Staley (concussion) is unable to play in the Week 7 game against the Seattle Seahawks Thursday, Oct. 18, then OL Leonard Davis would started at right guard, with OL Alex Boone moving from right guard to left tackle.
