The Buffalo Bills have signed free-agent FB Frank Summers (Chargers), DE Jamie Blatnick (Broncos), LB Kourtnei Brown (Redskins), P Brian Stahovich (Colts) and PK Chris Koepplin (Patriots). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The San Diego Chargers will "probably" carry four active running backs for their remaining games, according to head coach Norv Turner. RBs Ryan Mathews (calf) and Mike Tolbert (concussion) are expected back for the team's next game in Week 7. RB Jacob Hester is expected to be the third back, and the team will sign FB Frank Summers or RB Curtis Brinkley from the practice squad. RB Jordan Todman won't necessarily be the fourth running back; the team likes him but sees him as a contributor in the future.
