Sun, 22 Oct 2017 10:32:38 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (concussion) left the team's Week 7 game early and is going through the concussion protocol.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace will have to pass his concussion tests before he allowed to play again, so there is a good chance that he will not be able to return to the Week 7 game. Owners in most leagues should avoid all Ravens receivers for now.

Ravens | Mike Wallace active for Week 7

Sun, 22 Oct 2017 09:02:27 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (back) is active for Week 7's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace was listed as questionable on the injury report and was a limited practice participant Friday, Oct. 20, after missing two other practice sessions earlier in the week. There's a good chance that Wallace could see limited snaps even with WR Jeremy Maclin (shoulder) sidelined, so he should be viewed as an extremely risky option in all fantasy formats this afternoon.

Ravens | Mike Wallace misses another practice

Fri, 20 Oct 2017 09:41:53 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (back) was absent from practice for a second straight day Friday, Oct. 20.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace is not a great option in fantasy this week since he figures to draw shadow coverage from Xavier Rhodes, but expect him to do everything he can to play against one of his former teams. Keep him on the bench if you own him.

Ravens | Mike Wallace expects to play

Thu, 19 Oct 2017 12:04:44 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (back) said he expects to play in Week 7 even though he missed practice Thursday, Oct. 19.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should know more about Wallace's status later in the week. He could be the top receiver for the Ravens this week since Breshad Perriman and Jeremy Maclin are also dealing with injuries. Wallace would be facing a tough Minnesota Vikings defense and would not be a great option for fantasy owners.

Ravens | Mike Wallace not at practice

Thu, 19 Oct 2017 10:51:32 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (back) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 19.

Fantasy Tip: Baltimore's receiving corps is currently in shambles. Jeremy Maclin, Breshad Perriman and Ben Watson are also hurting, some more than others. It's difficult to start any Ravens on offense this week given the injuries, the tough matchup (Minnesota Vikings) and the fact that the offense as a whole hasn't played very well in 2017.

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace caught three passes for 30 yards against the Chicago Bears in Week 6.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace has had one big game this season but has been held to 30 yards or less in four of the six gamesin 2017. Owners can keep Wallace on the bench this week against a solid Minnesota Vikings defense.

Sun, 08 Oct 2017 20:00:39 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace caught three passes for 133 yards in a 30-17 win over the Oakland Raiders in Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace entered the game with just 76 receiving yards, but he turned back the clock and delivered multiple big plays down the field. That being said, he remains an all-or-nothing flex play heading into a Week 6 matchup with the Chicago Bears.

Ravens | Mike Wallace returns to end zone

Sun, 01 Oct 2017 18:47:19 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace posted six receptions for 55 yards and a touchdown in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers on a game-high 10 targets.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace had been a disaster in the first three weekends, posting just one catch in each game while total 21 yards. He isn't quite back, as far as fantasy purposes, but he is worth keeping an eye on in the next couple of games if Joe Flacco keeps looking his way.

Ravens | Mike Wallace quiet in Week 3

Sun, 24 Sep 2017 10:16:12 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace caught one pass for six yards against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 3.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace has been asking for more touches but was only able to record one catch against the Jaguars. He has only three catches and 21 yards over the first three games of the season and probably should stay on the bench in fantasy leagues until he posts better numbers.

Ravens | Mike Wallace wants a bigger role

Wed, 20 Sep 2017 16:33:47 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace said Wednesday, Sept. 20, that he "needs the rock" more, and he added that he is frustrated with his small role to date.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace had managed just two catches for 15 yards, so he's been mostly an afterthought in the offense. Conversely, newcomer Jeremy Maclin has a touchdown reception in each game so far, and the Ravens have used a run-heavy offense with Joe Flacco slow to get up to speed after a disc problem in his back. Wallace can mostly be avoided for fantasy purposes at this point.

Ravens | Mike Wallace quiet again in Week 2

Sun, 17 Sep 2017 16:53:32 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace managed just one catch for seven yards in Week 2 against the Browns on three targets.

Fantasy Tip: That's two games and just two receptions for 15 yards on four targets for the speedster. Wallace was once a high-end receiver in the Pittsburgh offense, but he has been a disaster in stops with Miami, Minnesota and now Baltimore. He can mostly be left to the waiver wire in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 3 against Jacksonville in London.

Ravens | Mike Wallace limited to one reception

Sun, 10 Sep 2017 18:27:12 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace recorded just one catch for eight yards on just one target in Week 1 at Cincinnati.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace was nearly non-existent, as Jeremy Maclin and Breshad Perriman led the way with four targets apiece. Joe Flacco was a bit rusty in his return from a disc issue in his back and he completed just nine passes all day in the win. They won, so the game plan was effective, so don't expect a huge uptick in Week 2 against Cleveland.

Thu, 09 Mar 2017 13:54:41 -0800

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace's 2017 option was exercised Thursday, March 9.

Sun, 01 Jan 2017 13:50:26 -0800

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace caught four passes for 33 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 17.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace was a solid addition for the Ravens this season and finished the season with over 1,000 yards and four touchdowns. Wallace could be the team's No. 1 receiver in 2017, which makes him a No. 3 or No. 4 receiver on fantasy teams next season.

Ravens | Quiet night for Mike Wallace

Sun, 25 Dec 2016 17:31:48 -0800

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace finished with four catches on seven targets for a season-low 21 yards in a 31-27 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers Sunday, Dec. 25.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace is on the doorstep of a 1,000-yard season, but he has been quiet in the second half of the year. He has gone seven games without scoring and hasn't topped 62 yards during the stretch. You should be able to find a better option in the regular season finale.

Ravens | Mike Wallace finishes with 60 yards

Sun, 18 Dec 2016 15:16:08 -0800

Ravens | Five grabs for Mike Wallace

Mon, 12 Dec 2016 21:53:23 -0800

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace posted five receptions for 52 yards on eight targets in the Week 14 game against the New England Patriots Monday, Dec. 12.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace has managed three or more receptions in all 13 of his games this season, and at least 52 receiving yards in nine straight. He remains more of a WR3 in PPR fantasy leagues because of his lack of touchdowns, as he has none in five games and just one in the past 11 outings.

Ravens | Six grabs for Mike Wallace

Sun, 04 Dec 2016 21:18:38 -0800

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace posted six receptions for 59 yards on seven targets in the Week 13 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace matched Steve Smith Sr. for the most catches by a Baltimore wideout, but rookie Breshad Perriman and Kamar Aiken were also fairly busy. It's a logjam at the wide receiver spot and Wallace is best used as a WR4 in most formats heading into Week 14 against the New England Patriots.

Ravens | Mike Wallace targeted 10 times

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 17:03:56 -0800

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace has managed five receptions for 62 yards on 10 targets in the Week 11 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace has taken a step back over the past two games, and it is no coincidence with Steve Smith back healthy again and posting 13 catches for 159 yards and two touchdowns over the past two games. Wallace should be treated as more of a low-end WR3 heading into Week 12 against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Ravens | Good game for Mike Wallace

Sun, 06 Nov 2016 14:13:15 -0800

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace caught four passes for 124 yards, including a 95-yard touchdown catch from QB Joe Flacco, in a 21-14 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, Nov. 6.

Fantasy Tip: Take away the long score and Wallace's numbers plummet. Still, Wallace is establishing himself as one of Flacco's desired targets, so he should get consideration in fantasy leagues.

Sun, 23 Oct 2016 14:51:33 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace caught 10 passes for 120 yards against the New York Jets in Week 7.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace served as the No. 1 receiver for the Ravens in Week 7 and made the most of his situation. He will continue to have a solid role in the passing game and can be a No. 3 receiver in deeper leagues.

Ravens | Mike Wallace productive in loss

Sun, 16 Oct 2016 17:18:50 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (chest, ribs) posted four receptions for 97 yards in the Week 6 game against the New York Giants. He was targeted nine times, and his biggest play came on a 70-yard reception.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace has been productive out of the slot, reviving his career in Baltimore while jelling nicely with Joe Flacco. The two haven't combined for any scoring plays since Week 2, but Wallace has at least three grabs in all six of his games and a total of 160 yards over his past two outings. He is a solid WR3 in most fantasy leagues heading into Week 7 against a shaky New York Jets pass defense.

Ravens | Mike Wallace playing in Week 6

Sun, 16 Oct 2016 09:12:52 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (chest) is officially active for the team's Week 6 game.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace probably will be the No. 1 receiver for the Ravens since Steve Smith will miss the game. He has been targeted at least six times in all five games this season and can be a solid No. 3 receiver for owners.

Ravens | Mike Wallace expected to play

Sun, 16 Oct 2016 06:39:35 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (chest) is expected to play in Week 6's game against the New York Giants.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace was a full participant in practice Friday, Oct. 14, and could have an expanded role in the Baltimore offense because WR Steve Smith (ankle) is not expected to play. He's worth considering as a WR3 option in most fantasy formats.

Ravens | Mike Wallace listed as questionable

Fri, 14 Oct 2016 12:46:55 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace (chest) is being listed as questionable for the team's Week 6 game Sunday, Oct. 16, opposite the New York Giants.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace will have a prime opportunity if he's able to suit up, as veteran teammate Steve Smith is being considered doubtful to play in Sunday's contest. If both end up on the sidelines, then 2015 standout Kamar Aiken would get a huge boost and flirt with WR3 potential.

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace was fined $9,115 by the National Football League for a taunting penalty during Week 4's game against the Oakland Raiders, after celebrating a catch on a successful two-point conversion attempt.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace should be viewed as a WR4 or flex option for Week 5 versus the Washington Redskins. In each of his last three contests, he has been targeted at least six times but has not amassed more than 44 receiving yards.

Sun, 18 Sep 2016 14:39:53 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace caught four passes for 41 yards and two touchdowns against the Cleveland Browns in Week 2.

Ravens | Mike Wallace has had success vs. Browns

Thu, 15 Sep 2016 15:51:43 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace is averaging 20.5 yards-per-catch over his career against the Cleveland Browns, the highest mark of his career opposite any team in which he's recorded at least 10 receptions. Facing the Browns, Wallace has hauled in 17 catches for 348 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace was a sleeper pick by some coming into the new season, and he got out to a good start in Week 1 after registering three catches for 91 yards and a touchdown versus a solid Bills defense. Time will tell if he can sustain meaningful production on an every-week basis in his new colors, but as far as Week 2 is concerned, Wallace looks like he can be a fine WR3 plugin.

Ravens | Mike Wallace has strong outing

Sun, 11 Sep 2016 14:15:54 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace caught three passes for 91 yards and one touchdown against the Buffalo Bills in Week 1.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace showed he could still be a deep threat with his 66-yard touchdown reception. He could waiver wire option for owners looking to add another receiver but likely will be only a flex option in deeper leagues at this time.

Sat, 27 Aug 2016 19:50:42 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace was targeted six times in the preseason game Saturday, Aug. 27, against the Detroit Lions, posting three receptions for 37 yards.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace was targeted more after Ben Watson left the game with a serious injury. He has the chance to rebound nicely in Baltimore, as injuries have created a huge opportunity. He should be targeted as a WR4 in most fantasy formats.

Ravens | Mike Wallace endearing himself

Wed, 17 Aug 2016 06:53:05 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace has caught fade routes in the end zone, tough catches on back-shoulder throws and has been a frequent target on underneath routes in camp. He has been a reliable target as far as hands go. "I think he is going to be a really big hit for us," QB Joe Flacco said. "We all know he can run. But just the way he runs his routes and how good is he at the top of it and coming back to you, and how sure his hands have been. I don't know if I've seen him drop a pass."

Fantasy Tip: Wallace has a golden opportunity to return to fantasy relevance. He's a WR4 with the opportunity for more with so many injuries and questions on the Ravens' roster.

Ravens | Mike Wallace works with starters

Mon, 01 Aug 2016 09:48:30 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WR Mike Wallace worked with the first-team offense in practice Sunday, July 31. Injuries to WRs Steve Smith Sr. (Achilles') and Breshad Perriman (knee) helped facilitate Wallace going with the starters.

Fantasy Tip: Wallace has as much upside as can be expected from a 30-year-old wide receiver on his fourth team in five years. Talent never was the problem, and now opportunity alone thrusts him into fantasy relevancy again as a WR4 target.

Fantasy Tip: It's unclear what Wallace's ailment is, but he did fail a conditioning test recently. His status will need to be monitored throughout training camp, but Wallace shouldn't be drafted as more than a WR5 in standard formats in a deep Baltimore wide receiver corps.

Thu, 21 Jul 2016 16:07:18 -0700

Baltimore Ravens WRs Steve Smith and Mike Wallace are projected as the two starting wide receivers for Baltimore, according to ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley.

Fantasy Tip: Aiken should still see a decent amount of targets even with Smith, Wallace and Breshad Perriman in the mix. Even with the large number of mouths to feed, Aiken is still a WR4 consideration heading into 2016.
