Tue, 21 May 2013 11:26:00 -0700 Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill was sharp during organized team activities Tuesday, May 21. Tannehill had big passes to WRs Brian Hartline and Mike Wallace. TE Dustin Keller was impressed with Tannehill's first practice. "You would think a guy who used to play wide receiver the best thing he does is run the ball," Keller said. "But he puts the ball right on the money and he's a good decision maker, as well."
Wed, 15 May 2013 12:31:58 -0700 Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace said he does not think building chemistry with QB Ryan Tannehill will be too difficult and expects the chemistry to be fine once training camp begins. Wallace said he works with Tannehill after each practice. Fantasy Tip: Wallace has been a solid producer since entering the league and should be the main target in the Dolphins' passing game this season. He likely will be an every-week starter in fantasy leagues this season. Tannehill has the potential to be a solid backup in fantasy because of the additions on offense.
Wed, 24 Apr 2013 05:59:34 -0700 Miami Dolphins WR Brian Hartline said he believes the team has a "championship offense" following the additions of WRs Mike Wallace and Brandon Gibson, as well as TE Dustin Keller in the offseason. "I think we got every move we needed to make," Hartline said. "We probably could add some depth at certain positions, but we've got all the pieces to the car, now we've just got to put it altogether."
Mon, 15 Apr 2013 05:43:47 -0700 Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace reported for voluntary workouts Monday, April 15.
Sun, 17 Mar 2013 18:00:26 -0700 Updating a previous report, Miami Dolphins WR Davone Bess is not immediately in danger of being cut despite the team's adding of free-agent WRs Brandon Gibson and Mike Wallace, as well as the re-signing of WR Brian Hartline. Fantasy Tip: Bess could stick around, but his fantasy value takes a huge hit with all of those talented receivers joining the fray. Bess has been arguing the No. 1 or 2 wideout in Miami for the past couple of years, but he is likely to see much less of the field as long as those others remain healthy. Heading into Draft Day, he is likely to go unpicked in a majority of leagues if his situation remains the same.
Sat, 16 Mar 2013 17:26:55 -0700 Miami Dolphins QB Matt Moore, WR Mike Wallace, WR Brian Hartline, DE Cameron Wake, LB Dannell Ellerbe and LB Philip Wheeler will count $50.07 million against the salary cap in 2014.
Thu, 14 Mar 2013 10:56:25 -0700 Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace will have a salary cap figure of only $3.2 million in 2013, but his 2014 cap number will go up to $17.2 million. His 2014 base salary of $15 million is fully guaranteed. His cap number in 2015 is scheduled to be $12.05 million while his 2016 and 2017 cap number will be $13.65 million.
Wed, 13 Mar 2013 05:40:23 -0700 Updating previous items, Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace's deal with the team is for five years and $60 million, with $30 million guaranteed.
Tue, 12 Mar 2013 20:45:59 -0700 Updating a previous report, the deal for Miami Dolphins WR Mike Wallace is for five years and $60 million, according to a source.
Tue, 12 Mar 2013 13:36:33 -0700 The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with WR Mike Wallace (Steelers). The deal is expected to include $30 million in guaranteed money. Fantasy Tip: Wallace gives the Dolphins a legitimate deep threat opposite Brian Hartline. It allows Davone Bess to move to the slot, too, where he's better suited. Ryan Tannehill has the mobility and strong arm to be a decent backup option next year with a more explosive offense around him.
