|Giants | Rashad Jennings likely to play Week 3|
Sat, 24 Sep 2016 09:18:02 -0700
New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings (hand) is continuing to work through his sprained left thumb and done enough to make offensive coordinator Mike Sullivan believe he'll be able to play through the injury in Week 3 versus the Washington Redskins. "It's something that's not natural. He's used to doing that without the cast. … It's definitely an adjustment that we have great confidence he'll be able to make," Sullivan said.
Fantasy Tip: Sullivan did not reveal whether the injury played a role in Jennings' meager workload in Week 3 (13 carries for 27 yards). Shane Vereen (14 carries, 42 yards) was marginally better and even saw some work at the goal line, but he isn't the answer. Neither Jennings nor Vereen can considered anything better than flex plays in Week 3.

|Giants | Rashad Jennings listed as questionable|
Fri, 23 Sep 2016 12:36:52 -0700
Fantasy Tip: After an encouraging performance in the season opener at Dallas, Jennings disappointed owners everywhere with a flat outing at home against the New Orleans Saints. It looks like he'll be entering the next contest a little hobbled -- if he plays, that is -- which could prevent him from providing RB2 numbers.

|Giants | Rashad Jennings limited |
Thu, 22 Sep 2016 13:44:59 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It would still be a surprise if Jennings was unable to play this weekend even though he's been limited this week. Check his status heading into the weekend, but he should still be in starting lineups versus a Washington Redskins defense that has given up 122.5 yards and two touchdowns on the ground per game to running backs.

|Giants | Rashad Jennings listed as limited|
Wed, 21 Sep 2016 12:05:16 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Jennings appears to have a good chance to play in Week 3, but owners should continue to monitor his status. He probably will receive is usual playing time if he is active for the game and can be a low-end No. 2 running back or a flex option in most leagues.

|Giants | Rashad Jennings on track for Week 3|
Tue, 20 Sep 2016 13:14:15 -0700
New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings (thumb) had a cast on his left thumb Tuesday, Sept. 20, but he said it will be removed before the Week 3 game against the Washington Redskins Sunday, Sept. 25. Jennings is confident he will play Sunday, and he also noted he could play with the cast on, if needed.
Fantasy Tip: Jennings has been a fantasy bust through the first two weeks with 102 yards on 31 carries (3.3 yards per tote) and three receptions for 16 yards. He's failed to find the end zone, too. However, Washington has been gashed for 4.2 yards per rushing attempt through the first two weeks and allowed a league-high five ground scores. Stay tuned for updates, but don't view Jennings as anything more than a middling RB2 with a low fantasy floor.

|Giants | Rashad Jennings should play|
Mon, 19 Sep 2016 15:58:57 -0700
Fantasy Tip: Jennings' status for Week 3 is vague at this point, so he'll need to be monitored throughout the week. If he is limited at all or can't play then Shane Vereen and Orleans Darkwa would be the primary beneficiaries. Starting Vereen as a flex in such a case wouldn't be out of the question.

|Giants | Rashad Jennings nursing left hand injury|
Mon, 19 Sep 2016 09:21:50 -0700
Fantasy Tip: It explains why Shane Vereen (14 carries, three catches) saw so much work in a game in which the Giants never trailed. Jennings has been underwhelming to say the least considering he has had two plus-matchups thus far, delivering 102 scoreless yards on 31 carries. If he is limited or forced to miss Week 3 versus the Washington Redskins, Orleans Darkwa and Paul Perkins would likely form a committee with Vereen, with all three backs likely being no better than flex options.

|Giants | Rashad Jennings the lead back|
Tue, 02 Aug 2016 11:22:37 -0700
New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings is the No. 1 running back this year, according to running backs coach Craig Johnson. Johnson dispelled any notion that the Giants would implement a four-running back committee again this season.
Fantasy Tip: There wasn't really any question that Jennings would be the primary ball carrier if he was healthy. Shane Vereen should assume the third-down role, but Paul Perkins could steal some touches away, too, not to mention Andre Williams. Still Jennings will see his fair share of opportunities and should be viewed as an RB3.

|Giants | Rashad Jennings says he's entering prime|
Wed, 13 Jul 2016 08:25:19 -0700
New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings said at 31 he thinks he's just now entering his prime.
"There's a difference between being an NFL player and being a pro," Jennings said. "Being an NFL player is a guy that comes into the league, has some talent, plays a little bit. But a pro really understands how to take care of his body, how to play the X's and O's, play the game before it happens. I've just been allowing my maturity to catch up with my age at the same time. I'm excited. As I get into my latter years, I'm getting into my prime."
Fantasy Tip: Jennings has never had 200 carries, and he entered the league later than average backs at 24. He's coming off a solid season where he averaged 4.4 yards per carry and had a 195-863-3 line rushing and a 29-296-1 line receiving. He'll be a high-end RB3 whose age could undervalue him in drafts.

|Giants | Solid workload for Rashad Jennings?|
Sat, 09 Jul 2016 12:31:09 -0700
New York Giants RB Rashad Jennings could see around 15 to 18 carries per game in 2016, according to John Schmeelk of giants.com. Jennings will still be the Giants' primary running back, with RB Shane Vereen serving as the third-down back.
Fantasy Tip: Jennings has been underrated so far this year for a starting running back. He did leave something to be desired, but Jennings still deserves RB3 consideration after amassing nearly 1,200 total yards and four total touchdowns.
