Chris Brown, of BuffaloBills.com, reports it appears Buffalo Bills FS Jairus Byrd (hernia, groin) should be able to practice at some point next week. If he is unable to practice Monday, Nov. 9, then he should be able to go Wednesday, Nov. 11.

The Associated Press reports Buffalo Bills FS Jairus Byrd (groin) is traveling to visit with a specialist after injuring his groin in Week 8. Head coach Dick Jauron said the trip had been planned as a checkup to see how Byrd has healed after having surgery to fix a sports hernia last year.
