Sat, 25 May 2013 09:06:14 -0700

St. Louis Rams QB Sam Bradford appeared to have good chemistry with TE Jared Cook during organized team activities Friday, May 24.

Fantasy Tip: Cook probably will be the team's No. 1 tight end this season and should be involved in the passing game. Cook should be viewed as a solid No. 2 option for fantasy teams this season.

Rams | Lance Kendricks dealing with injury

Fri, 24 May 2013 15:05:18 -0700

St. Louis Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said TE Lance Kendricks (knee) underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and will continue his rehab. Kendricks was not able to participate in organized team activities Thursday, May 23.

Fantasy Tip: Kendricks lost some of his fantasy value when the team signed Jared Cook this offseason but there is a chance both will be on the field at the same time. Kendricks should be considered as a weak No. 2 tight end this season because Cook likely will be the team's main receiving tight end.

Titans | Jared Cook sees himself as WR

Thu, 21 Feb 2013 18:21:43 -0800

Tennessee Titans impending free-agent TE Jared Cook sees himself as more of a wide receiver than a tight end and likely will look to be considered as a wide receiver if he receives the franchise tag. Cook would earn around $6 million if he is tagged as a tight end but would earn around $10.5 million if he gets the wide receiver tag. Cook could make a good argument that he should be seen as a wide receiver because he lined up as the slot receiver on 56 percent of his snaps in 2012. The two sides are expected to discuss a long-term deal but significant progress is not expected to be made.
