Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak said Monday, Dec. 26, that LB Connor Barwin (Achilles') and TE Owen Daniels (knee) were held out of practice due to the team practicing on the turf. "No, I kept some guys off the turf today," Kubiak said. "Connor was off the turf. Who else? OD was off the turf, but they could've practiced. We should be okay going into Wednesday."

Texans | Connor Barwin joins rare club

Houston Texans LB Connor Barwin racked up a sack in the Week 15 game against the San Francisco 49ers. He has a team-high 10 1/2 sacks, joining LB Mario Williams as the only players in team history to post double-digit sack totals in a single season. Williams accomplished the feat in 2007 and 2008.

Houston Texans LB Connor Barwin (Achilles') was listed with an Achilles' injury, but head coach Gary Kubiak said he missed practice Wednesday, Nov. 9, because he is banged up. "Just beat up. Connor just general soreness and we just held (him) out," Kubiak said. He added that Barwin could have practiced.
