Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt was limited to just 11 snaps in the Week 9 game against the St. Louis Rams. Britt was used as a run blocked and decoy, and he was targeted just once in the game.
Fantasy Tip: If you haven't already done so, and were hanging on hoping for the best, now is the time to jettison Britt. He has minimal fantasy appeal at this point, and it doesn't appear to be getting any better.
Tue, 29 Oct 2013 08:59:42 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt said he's open to a trade before the deadline Tuesday, Oct. 29. "It would be great to stay, as long as they're giving me opportunities that I should get, especially since I've been working hard and doing the right things out there," Britt said. "Going somewhere else and having a fresh start, it would be good also. But where my mind is right now is just probably staying here because everything is here -- my family is here and stuff like that." Britt has only eight catches in six games after losing his starting job a few weeks ago.
Fantasy Tip: About the only thing that will raise Britt's fantasy value at the moment is a trade. Otherwise, he's basically just wasting away in Tennessee. Leave him to the waiver wire unless he's dealt, depending on where he goes.

Thu, 17 Oct 2013 10:55:07 -0700
Despite playing just two snaps in the team's Week 6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt could be in line for more work after head coach Mike Munchak said he's proud of the receiver. Britt has just seven catches for 59 yards on the season after being demoted for dropped passes and sloppy play last month. "He needs to play more. He needs to get 20 snaps," Munchak said. "I'd like to give him opportunities to make plays. Maybe he's not starting, and maybe he's not in the starting groups. But he needs to be in the mix, because the guy still has talent. We still believe in him, and want to give him opportunities even if he has dropped some balls. But we need to play him more, and I think he'll rise up to the occasion." The Titans have fielded trade offers for Britt, but Munchak said "we have no plans" to trade him before the deadline Oct. 29.
Fantasy Tip: Britt probably doesn't deserve to be owned on any rosters outside of the deepest leagues, but there is still hope down the road. Perhaps Britt regains some value with more PT and when Jake Locker returns after the bye week in Week 9.
Mon, 14 Oct 2013 12:01:54 -0700
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak said the team is still trying to figure out WR Kenny Britt's role in the offense. Britt was on the field for only two snaps during the team's Week 6 game, and Munchak said Britt needs to make plays to get more playing time.

Sun, 13 Oct 2013 07:07:12 -0700

Thu, 10 Oct 2013 11:46:18 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt is in the doghouses of offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains and head coach Mike Munchak after lackadaisical play this year and plenty of dropped passes, but the team won't make him inactive in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks. Britt believes he can play better and has an explanation for all of his dropped passes. "I believe it's attacking the football, like I've been doing in practice. I feel like I've gotten away from it in the game, and that's what I need to do is go back and focus on attacking the football," Britt said. "That's one of the things I want to get back to is attacking the ball, and coming downhill when the ball is in the air and going up and getting it. That's one of the things I've gone back to in practice and I want to carry over to the field on Sunday."
Fantasy Tip: There is a small glimmer of hope for Britt, but you shouldn't trust him to your starting lineup this week, especially against a very gifted Seattle Seahawks secondary.
Mon, 07 Oct 2013 06:31:30 -0700
Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said the team will reassess WR Kenny Britt's role after he had just one catch in Week 5. They threw two him six times on the day.
Fantasy Tip: The quotes sounded like frustrated fantasy owner ready to cut bait. That could be a good thing for Britt.
Fri, 04 Oct 2013 19:10:42 -0700
Tennessee Titans general manager Ruston Webster acknowledged Friday, Oct. 4, that the team has fielded "a call or two" from teams interested in trading for WR Kenny Britt. However, he added there have been no major discussions. "We're not making calls," Webster added.

Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (neck, ribs) fully practiced Friday, Oct. 4, and is probable.
Thu, 03 Oct 2013 16:02:54 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (neck, ribs) practiced in full Thursday, Oct. 3.
Fantasy Tip: It looks like Britt should be able to return this week, but that doesn't mean he'll immediately return to No. 1 wide receiver duties. Nate Washington and Kendall Wright have earned more work, so Britt should only be an option for those in deeper leagues.
Wed, 02 Oct 2013 16:04:52 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (neck, ribs) fully participated in practice Wednesday, Oct. 2.
Mon, 30 Sep 2013 11:25:59 -0700

Fri, 27 Sep 2013 12:16:20 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (neck, ribs) was limited in practice Friday, Sept. 27, and is questionable for the team's Week 4 game.
Fantasy Tip: At this point, Britt should not be anywhere near your starting roster, as he has lost most of his fantasy value.
Thu, 26 Sep 2013 15:06:38 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (neck, ribs) was limited in practice Thursday, Sept. 26.
Fantasy Tip: Things just aren't going Britt's way this season. Even though he could still play this weekend against the New York Jets, he shouldn't be relied on in fantasy circles. You might be best off dumping him and searching from wideouts in better situations.
Thu, 26 Sep 2013 06:08:52 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (ribs) revealed he suffered a fractured rib in Week 3. He expects to practice Thursday, Sept. 26, and play in Week 4.

Wed, 25 Sep 2013 14:42:33 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (neck, ribs) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 25.
Fantasy Tip: Britt's fantasy value continues to fall on a daily basis, and landing on the injury report will do nothing to help that. It is time to look elsewhere.
Tue, 24 Sep 2013 14:08:30 -0700
The Tennessee Titans liked what they saw from rookie WR Justin Hunter in the team's Week 3 win over the San Diego Chargers in which Hunter caught a late-game touchdown. "One of the reasons we drafted him is we think he can be a special deep ball threat. He has a great combination of size and speed and he can jump. That was a perfect example of that situation," QB Jake Locker said of Hunter. "He was able to run down, track that football down and then when it comes to a jump ball, we feel confident he is going to come down with it 100 percent of the time, because that's his strength. That plays right into his abilities."
Fantasy Tip: This is more bad news for Kenny Britt and his owners. If Hunter continues to impress and gel with Locker, Britt might sink further into wideout obscurity in Tennessee. It might be time to think about cutting Britt for better options.
Tue, 24 Sep 2013 10:50:31 -0700
The Detroit Lions could look to trade for Cleveland Browns WRs Josh Gordon or Greg Little or Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt after WR Nate Burleson (arm) suffered a broken arm. The Browns have said that they aren't looking to deal Gordon or Little, though.
Fantasy Tip: This is pure speculation at this point. Gordon is highly unlikely to be dealt. Little and Britt make more sense, but Britt's dropped passes and attitude concerns make him a risky acquisition. Little and Britt would receive a value boost if they were given the chance to start over with a new squad.
Mon, 23 Sep 2013 12:28:04 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Nate Washington caught eight passes for a career-high 131 yards in the team's Week 3 victory over the San Diego Chargers. "Nate just balled out - that's all you can say," WR Kendall Wright said. "He's a captain and he kept leading us, by example and vocally. When you get a vet like that who's been in the game a long time, you listen to him because he's one of the hardest-working guys out there." Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said QB Jake Locker believes in Washington.
Fantasy Tip: Washington has taken advantage of the opportunity that Kenny Britt's poor play has given him, and he's running with it. Washington should see plenty of looks from Locker now, making him a smart waiver wire pickup this week.
Mon, 23 Sep 2013 12:20:48 -0700
Updating a previous report, Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt once again was lackluster in the team's Week 3 win over the San Diego Chargers and had several drops. In a key late-game third-and-long situation, Britt was benched in favor of WR Justin Hunter, who wound up making the game-winning touchdown catch. Britt was on the sideline for all of the team's 10 plays during their 94-yard game-winning drive. WR Nate Washington, who had eight catches in the game, has become the team's top wideout, with WR Kendall Wright running more of the underneath routes. Britt said he was banged up with a sore neck and bruised rib from a scary tackle in the second quarter, but offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains said the receiver rotation on the final drive was a coaching decision. Britt was targeted five times in the game and didn't have a single catch, including two drops. "Kenny's still a physical specimen. He's going to be part of this offense," Loggains said. "We just have to clean that stuff up. We can't have dropped balls from anyone. We can't have penalties. We can be a good football team if we clean that stuff up. We're not going to be good if we're stupid."
Fantasy Tip: Britt put himself further into the doghouse in this game. If you own him, you might not be able to get away with dropping him yet, but he should be banished to your bench in Week 4. Washington and Wright are gaining steam for waiver wire acquisitions.
Sun, 22 Sep 2013 15:14:12 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt was targeted five times in Week 3 against the San Diego Chargers, but he did not record any receptions.
Fantasy Tip: Britt has the potential to be a front-line fantasy starter, but whether it is trouble off the field, injuries or other forces, for some reason he just isn't producing. If you need the roster spot, you have to consider dumping Britt for a more productive player at this point.
Thu, 19 Sep 2013 16:23:24 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright (concussion) did not practice again Thursday, Sept. 19, but he doesn't think he has a concussion. Wright will visit with a doctor before practice Friday, Sept. 20, and the team expects him to be cleared to practice and play in Week 3 against the San Diego Chargers. WR Damian Williams will serve as the No. 3 receiver and WR Justin Hunter will be the fourth if Wright can't play.
Fantasy Tip: Wright should be a solid play against a weak Chargers secondary if he can suit up. If not, Kenny Britt and Nate Washington receive a boost in value for the week.
Tue, 17 Sep 2013 11:10:42 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt is not happy with the team and thinks this will be his last year in Tennessee.
Fantasy Tip: If Britt continues to have issues with the team, the main beneficiaries on the field will be Kendall Wright and Justin Hunter. For now though, it is tough to have Britt anywhere near your starting lineup.
Tue, 17 Sep 2013 06:23:28 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt was benched in Week 2 for mistakes and lackadaisical blocking. He has two more catches than penalties this season. "That's two weeks in a row he's had a holding call, so it was more to refocus him," head coach Mike Munchak said.
Fantasy Tip: Patience is running thin on a player many pegged for a breakout season.
Mon, 16 Sep 2013 10:55:12 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt hopes to get more involved in the offense moving forward. Britt said it is up the quarterback and the offensive coordinator to get him the ball more.
Fri, 13 Sep 2013 15:11:54 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kendall Wright had only two catches for 11 yards and played in just 19 of the team's 67 offensive snaps in Week 1 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he expects to be more involved moving forward. "Whatever we have to do to get the win, whether it's passing or running, that's all that matters," said Wright, who caught 64 passes for 626 yards in 2012. "It just depends on what the defense is doing." Wright said he was 95 percent healthy in Week 1 after missing the final two preseason games with a knee ailment.
Fantasy Tip: Don't be too alarmed with Wright's disappearing act in Week 1; No. 1 wideout Kenny Britt also had an alarmingly quiet game. The reason: Tennessee made it a slow, grind-out, ground-and-pound game with the Steelers. Expect more production from both wide receivers when the game dictates more passing.
Fri, 13 Sep 2013 12:59:26 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt, after catching only one pass for 15 yards in the team's Week 1 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers, said he wants more work. Britt was targeted only twice as the team used a run-heavy attack. "I still believe in me, Jake (Locker) still believes in me," Britt said. "Any game I can have some catches and help the team get a W is good with me. … I just roll with the flow because I am a team player, and whatever helps us get that W is what matters in the long run. I'd like to see a playoff game and a Super Bowl this year." Offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains plans to use Britt more often in the future, too.
Tue, 27 Aug 2013 11:10:27 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (knee) will not play in the team's final preseason game, according to head coach Mike Munchek.
Tue, 13 Aug 2013 09:47:24 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (knee) has missed practice time due to swelling and soreness in his right knee, but head coach Mike Munchak isn't terribly concerned at this point. "We just have to be smart, because it is all about getting him to September," Munchak said.
Tue, 13 Aug 2013 05:26:06 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (knee) sat out for the second straight day Monday, Aug. 12. He has had swelling and soreness in his right knee, but he is expected to play in the preseason game this weekend.
Sun, 11 Aug 2013 20:26:28 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (knee) missed practice Sunday, Aug. 11, due to a sore knee.
Fantasy Tip: It doesn't sound like a terribly serious ailment, so fantasy owners need not worry about it lingering into the regular season.
Tue, 02 Jul 2013 20:33:15 -0700
The Tennessee Titans would like to carry five wide receivers, though six wouldn't be out of the question. If they keep five, WRs Kenny Britt, Justin Hunter, Nate Washington, Damian Williams and Kendall Wright are likely to be kept, although that would mean WRs Marc Mariani (leg), Michael Preston and Kevin Walter would be on the outside looking in.
Sat, 22 Jun 2013 08:22:33 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (knee) participated in most of the organized team activities this offseason even though the team was willing to give him a few days to rest his knee. Britt told the trainers he was OK to practice even though he was offered a day off.
Fri, 21 Jun 2013 18:41:23 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt used a different approach to organized team activities (OTAs) this season. In the past, he viewed OTAs and training camp as opportunities to get in shape, rather than maintaining his fitness away from the team's facilities. This season, he is taking a different approach. "It was in my mind as a young player that I could get in shape (when I got here), instead of being in shape at the start of training camp. I thought I could take this (time) off, and get back into shape in camp," Britt said. "That is not something I want to do any more. I want to be in shape at the start of camp and be ready to go. I don't want to fall behind everybody."
Fantasy Tip: It is another positive story that perhaps the light has gone off for Britt. He could also have some outside help making him see the light, as this is his contract year. Britt could come on the cheap on draft day, as fantasy owners who have a sour taste in their mouths from poor performance, off-field trouble or injuries might shy away from him and allow Britt to fall. Scoop him up as a No. 2 or 3 fantasy receiver and reap the rewards this season. He has talked a good game, and the team is impressed with his work ethic to this point.
Fri, 21 Jun 2013 13:30:18 -0700
Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Munchak and offensive coordinator Dowell Loggains both were happy with how the wide receivers performed during offseason workouts. "The receiving group has been fun to watch, the way they're working in the run game and the pass game. We've drafted guys at that position the last few years and there's great competition and camaraderie there. I think it was fun seeing [WR Kenny Britt] healthy and not having questions every day about his health, and seeing [WR Kendall Wright] lose 15 pounds and running out here like a guy who's going to break a lot of runs next year. [WR Nate Washington] has had the best camp he's had since he's been here. He's been a leader. He's been everything you could ask for," Munchak said.
Tue, 04 Jun 2013 11:02:49 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (knee) did not participate in organized team activities Tuesday, June 4.
Fantasy Tip: Britt had knee issues through most of 2012, so this may be nothing more than the team being cautious with their wide receiver. Still, double check on his status as draft season gets closer.
Mon, 03 Jun 2013 07:00:50 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt is entering the final year of his rookie contract and is in a critical year of his career.
Fantasy Tip: Britt has always flashed the talent, but not the presence between his ears. Injuries have been a factor, but he appears healthy and will need to remain motivated and cash in during his contract year.
Sun, 02 Jun 2013 20:11:53 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt (knee), who is entering the final season of his five-year contract, appeared to run routes during organized team activities (OTAs) without any signs of struggle. WR Kendall Wright feels Britt is healthy and ready to go. "Kenny is healthy and he's doing good. He looks way different," Wright said. "He took his offseason serious and went and got his knees right."
Fantasy Tip: A contract year plus fellow owners who might have a bad taste in their mouths after owning Britt in the past could add up to the Titans WR being a huge value in fantasy drafts. He had 45 passes for 589 yards and four touchdowns last season, which wasn't awful, but way more is expected from him in 2013. He could be a pick in the neighborhood of Rounds 6 through 10, but might have early-round production when it is all said and done.
Fri, 24 May 2013 18:20:35 -0700
Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt has gotten serious this offseason, training in California, and showing up for the start of the offseason program in good shape, impressing coaches and teammates. Britt had multiple knee surgeries last offseason, but he has not had any operations this season, and that could be a springboard to a big season.
Fantasy Tip: Britt has the ability to not only be a No. 1 receiver in the NFL, but a top-flight fantasy option as well. As long as he can remain healthy and keep his head screwed on straight, Britt might be a tremendous value on draft day. Previous owners might pass on him out of spite, having a bad taste in their mouths from previous underwhelming seasons.
Mon, 22 Apr 2013 13:55:41 -0700
Tennessee Titans QB Jake Locker said WR Kenny Britt looks good at the start of offseason workouts. "He came back and looked great during workouts," Locker said. "It sounds like he really got on his rehab and got his knee feeling a lot better and I'm really excited about how he came back."
