Rams | Kenny Britt gets into end zone

Sun, 04 Dec 2016 16:20:57 -0800

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt posted two receptions for 67 yards and a touchdown in the Week 13 game against the New England Patriots. He was targeted six times.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has emerged as the only real consistent fantasy option in the Los Angeles offense, posting 43 or more receiving yards in nine straight outings while scoring a total of five touchdowns in the past seven games. He is a solid WR3 in most formats heading into Week 14 against the Atlanta Falcons.

Rams | Kenny Britt ready to finish strong

Fri, 25 Nov 2016 20:02:02 -0800

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt said he credits wide receivers coach Mike Groh for his success this season, and Britt doesn't believe there will be a drop in his production with the transition to QB Jared Goff.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has become the top target for the Rams, but being the go-to option for a passing attack ranked 28th in the league limits his upside. He is a WR3 candidate in Week 12 against the shaky defense of the Saints.

Rams | Kenny Britt mostly held in check

Sun, 20 Nov 2016 20:31:03 -0800

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt posted five grabs for 43 yards on seven targets in the Week 11 game against the Miami Dolphins.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has two 100-yard games over the past five outings, but he also has been held under 50 yards in three games during the span. He should be treated as a WR3 in most fantasy formats, although he has the potential of a big stat line in Week 12 against a bad New Orleans Saints pass defense.

Rams | Kenny Britt shines in Week 10 win

Sun, 13 Nov 2016 13:13:38 -0800

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt caught seven passes for 109 yards in Week 10's win over the New York Jets.

Fantasy Tip: Britt continues to stand out in an otherwise anemic passing game. He's a matchup play as a WR2 in PPR most weeks and a flex in standard setups. Week 11 brings the Miami Dolphins.

Rams | Kenny Britt finds end zone late

Sun, 06 Nov 2016 21:13:32 -0800

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt posted four receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown in the Week 9 game against the Carolina Panthers.

Fantasy Tip: Britt's touchdown came in the final minute of regulation, but fantasy owners do not care when it comes, as long as it does. He has emerged as a useful WR3 in most fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams. The Rams meet the Jets in Week 10 for another favorable matchup.

Rams | Kenny Britt having career year

Mon, 17 Oct 2016 11:56:11 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt is on pace for 1,312 receiving yards in 2016. His current career high is 775 yards. Through six games this year Britt has managed 30 catches for 492 yards and two touchdowns.

Fantasy Tip: The key for Britt is to stay healthy. He has only played three full seasons in his eight-year career. He is outperforming Tavon Austin and appears to be Case Keenum's favorite target. Many of the Rams' game scripts may force them to pass a lot, so pick up Britt if he's available.

Sun, 16 Oct 2016 18:25:06 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt hauled in seven receptions for 136 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 6 game against the Detroit Lions. He was targeted eight times.

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt posted five receptions for 75 yards in the Week 5 game against the Buffalo Bills on six targets.

Rams | Kenny Britt ready to play

Sun, 09 Oct 2016 12:34:42 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt (thigh) is officially active for the team's Week 5 game.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has been a solid part of the team's passing offense over the first month of the season and should see plenty of targets in Week 5. He should be considered a low-end No. 3 receiver or a flex option in leagues.

Rams | Kenny Britt expected to play

Sun, 09 Oct 2016 07:34:16 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt (thigh) is expected to play in Week 5's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Fantasy Tip: Britt was listed as questionable on the injury report but was a full participant in practice Friday, Oct. 7. He should be viewed as nothing more than a low-end WR3 or flex option in seasonal fantasy leagues containing 12 or more teams.

Rams | Kenny Britt questionable for Week 5

Fri, 07 Oct 2016 15:50:25 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt (thigh) fully participated in practice Friday, Oct. 7, and is listed as questionable for Week 5.

Fantasy Tip: Britt should be able to play, but owners will need check the inactive list before the game. He has at least 67 yards in three of his four games this season but has not reached the end zone yet. Britt could be considered a No. 3 receiver or a flex option in fantasy leagues.

Rams | Kenny Britt sits again

Thu, 06 Oct 2016 20:27:31 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt (thigh) did not practice Thursday, Oct. 6.

Fantasy Tip: Britt is the most reliable option in the Rams' passing attack, but that isn't saying much. Consider him a fringe WR3 if he suits up.

Rams | Kenny Britt does not practice

Wed, 05 Oct 2016 19:57:31 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt (thigh) did not practice Wednesday, Oct. 5, as he is nursing a thigh injury.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has been the most consistent receiver in Los Angeles from a fantasy perspective. If he is unable to play in Week 5, Tavon Austin and Brian Quick would likely fill any void, although there are no indications Britt is in jeopardy of not playing. When healthy, he is a decent low-end WR3 in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.

Rams | Kenny Britt leads the way

Sun, 02 Oct 2016 22:13:36 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt hauled in four receptions for a team-high 82 yards in the Week 4 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He was targeted four times.

Fantasy Tip: Britt made the most of his targets, and he has emerged as the most viable fantasy option on the team in the past couple of games. Britt isn't a bad pickup if you're desperate for a WR4 heading into Week 5 against Buffalo.

Rams | Kenny Britt active

Sun, 02 Oct 2016 12:33:20 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt (thigh) is officially active for the team's Week 4 game.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has been targeted 22 times over the first three games of the season and has 199 yards during that span. He could be a flex option in deeper leagues but likely will not be used in most fantasy leagues.

Rams | Kenny Britt questionable for Week 4

Fri, 30 Sep 2016 18:33:22 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt (thigh) was a limited participant in practice Friday, Sept. 30, and is listed as questionable for Week 4.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has been the top receiver for the Rams thus far, and if he can't suit up, Brian Quick could be worth a roll of the dice in DFS formats.

Rams | Kenny Britt has fair stat line

Mon, 12 Sep 2016 22:53:29 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt hauled in four balls for a game-high 67 yards in the Week 1 game against the San Francisco 49ers.

Fantasy Tip: Most of his production came in garbage time after the game was already decided, but fantasy owners don't care. However, Case Keenum was horrific in this one and fantasy owners should downgrade Britt to WR4 status until the QB situation in Los Angeles improves dramatically.

Rams | Pharoh Cooper locked into starting role?

Sun, 21 Aug 2016 20:24:08 -0700

Los Angeles Rams WR Pharoh Cooper, WR Kenny Britt and WR Tavon Austin are currently the top three receivers, head coach Jeff Fisher said.

Fantasy Tip: The Rams' run-first offense won't do him any favors, but with Cooper set to be on the field in three-receiver sets, he could be worth a late-round gamble in PPR formats.

Rams | Kenny Britt to be cut?

Tue, 23 Feb 2016 11:26:02 -0800

Los Angeles Rams WR Kenny Britt will save the Rams $5 million of their salary cap with no dead money if he is released this offseason.

Fantasy Tip: The bad news for the Rams is that even though they'll save a good chunk of money, Britt is still their best wide receiver. This cut is less likely than others, but not out of the realm of possibility. If Britt stays, he's no more than a low-end WR4.

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt caught a touchdown for the second game in a row, finishing with three catches for 49 yards in a 23-17 win over the Seattle Seahawks in Week 16.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has been involved in the offense a bit more recently, but he remains an all-or-nothing option at FantasyScore.

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt caught two passes for 71 yards, including a 60-yard touchdown, in a 31-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Britt found the end zone for the second time this year, and while he still has big-play potential, he is an all-or-nothing option at FantasyScore.

Rams | Todd Gurley, Kenny Britt probable

Wed, 16 Dec 2015 13:18:18 -0800

St. Louis Rams RB Todd Gurley (non-injury) and WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) are probable to play Thursday, Dec. 17, against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Fantasy Tip: Gurley ($7,300, 14.6% of cap) is the only Ram worth starting on FantasyScore and in your fantasy playoffs this week, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been better than average against running backs this year. View Gurley as a low-end RB1 heading into Week 15.

Rams | Todd Gurley, Kenny Britt limited

Tue, 15 Dec 2015 16:23:06 -0800

St. Louis Rams RB Todd Gurley (non-injury) and WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) were limited in practice Tuesday, Dec. 15.

Fantasy Tip: As has been the case since Gurley ($6,100, 12.2% of cap) started playing, he is the only St. Louis player worth starting in fantasy leagues and on FantasyScore. Britt and the rest of the offense are just too unreliable. As for Gurley's matchup, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been better than average against running backs, but he should still be regarded as a low-end RB1 to high-end RB2.

Rams | Kenny Britt limited

Mon, 14 Dec 2015 16:43:17 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) was limited during practice Monday, Dec. 14. The team did not practice, so this is an estimation.

Fantasy Tip: Britt should be able to play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Thursday, Dec. 17, but owners should keep an eye out on the situation. He has caught more than three passes in only one of his last six games and is not a great option for owners this week.

Rams | Kenny Britt suffers late injury

Sun, 06 Dec 2015 17:41:53 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) appeared to suffer a shoulder injury late in the Week 13 game against the Arizona Cardinals, but he was able to finish.

Fantasy Tip: Britt finished with two receptions for 41 yards and he was targeted six times. The St. Louis offense is in shambles and should anyone not named Gurley should avoided for fantasy purposes.

Rams | Kenny Britt nearly non-existent

Sun, 15 Nov 2015 18:51:43 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt was held to just one catch for six yards in the Week 10 game against the Chicago Bears. He was targeted three times.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has quickly disappeared as the season has progressed, and the addition of Wes Welker will likely mean even fewer targets going forward for Britt.

Rams | Kenny Britt added to injury report

Fri, 09 Oct 2015 13:59:09 -0700

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (knee) did not practice Friday, Oct. 9, but he is listed as probable for Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers.

Fantasy Tip: This doesn't sound like a serious injury for Britt ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) and the Rams. Britt had just one target in a win last week in a tough matchup. It's tough to rely on the big receiver in point-per-reception games like FantasyScore because of his inconsistent nature and reliance on big plays.

Rams | Kenny Britt will suit up Sunday

Fri, 02 Oct 2015 14:34:13 -0700

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) practiced in full Friday, Oct. 2, and is probable for Week 4 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Fantasy Tip: Britt ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) may draw a matchup against Cardinials shut-down cornerback Patrick Peterson Sunday. That doesn't bode well for Britt or the Rams offense that has already struggled through three games. The Cards are allowing the third-fewest fantasy points per game to receivers in PPR formats (24.5). Look elsewhere on FantasyScore.

Rams | Kenny Britt has limited practice

Thu, 01 Oct 2015 16:09:16 -0700

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) was estimated as limited in practice Thursday, Oct. 1. The Rams did not practice today, so Britt's participation status is an estimation.

Fantasy Tip: Britt ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) didn't practice yesterday, so this estimation is encouraging. He's the Rams' best receiver right now, and St. Louis could be forced to pass frequently to keep up with the Arizona Cardinals. There is some risk still with Britt, but he's not the worst you can do at wide receiver on FantasyScore.

Rams | Kenny Britt does not practice

Wed, 30 Sep 2015 16:06:38 -0700

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (shoulder) did not participate in practice Wednesday, Sept. 30.

Fantasy Tip: Owners should monitor the situation to see if Britt ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) is in danger of missing the Week 4 game against the Arizona Cardinals. Britt is coming off a strong Week 3 performance, but he will be a risky option because of the injury and the matchup.

Rams | Kenny Britt hits century mark

Sun, 27 Sep 2015 16:39:01 -0700

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt had seven receptions for 102 yards in the Week 3 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was targeted 10 times.

Fantasy Tip: Britt ($2,300, 4.6% of cap) has been fairly productive for FantasyScore owners in the early going, scoring last week and then going for triple-digit yardage in this one. At this price level he is a nice FantasyScore value going forward.

Rams | Kenny Britt wants to be better

Mon, 08 Jun 2015 14:15:55 -0700

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt said he has a chip on his shoulder from not performing up to his expectations the last six seasons. Britt added that he has a lot to prove in his second season with the Rams. "I don't want to leave this season saying I left something out there on the field," Britt said.

Fantasy Tip: Britt has the talent to be a successful wide receiver in the NFL and for fantasy football teams, but that talent hasn't come to full fruition. Britt should be the Rams' No. 1 wide receiver this year after coming off a 2014 season in which he caught 48 passes for 748 yards and 3 touchdowns. He should be taken as a WR5 with WR4 potential.

Rams | Nick Foles praised by teammates

Fri, 05 Jun 2015 21:09:02 -0700

St. Louis Rams QB Nick Foles was praised by WR Kenny Britt and TE Jared Cook for his performance during OTAs. "We love him," Britt said Thursday, June 4. "Great deep ball, he puts it on the money every time. He can throw every pass in the book."

Fantasy Tip: The Rams' offense will likely center on the power running game, but Foles should still be a useful option at FantasyScore when facing friendlier matchups in 2015.

Rams | STL expecting more from Kenny Britt

Sun, 05 Apr 2015 10:21:20 -0700

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt is expected to produce more in the passing game next season, according to head coach Jeff Fisher. "I can kind of share the same issue Kenny does and that's we think he can be better. I think he can do better. He thinks he can be better. He thinks he can be more productive. He's looking forward to the offensive changes. I think yeah, we should see a lot more out of Kenny this year," Fisher said.

Fantasy Tip: Britt is coming off one of his better seasons with 748 receiving yards and a career-high 48 receptions. He likely will be one of the Rams' starting receivers and could be a later-round option for owners next season.

Sat, 14 Mar 2015 08:25:45 -0700

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt could void his contract after only one season if he performs well enough during the 2015 season.

Fantasy Tip: Britt had one of his best seasons in 2014 with 48 catches, 748 yards and three touchdowns. Britt could be one of the starting wide receivers next season and should have a solid role in the passing game. Britt could be an option in the later rounds of drafts next season.

Rams | Kenny Britt re-signs with Rams

Fri, 13 Mar 2015 19:14:04 -0700

Free-agent WR Kenny Britt is coming back to the St. Louis Rams on a two-year, $14 million deal with $4.3 million guaranteed.

Fantasy Tip: Britt finished with a career-high 48 catches last year, and his 748 receiving yards were the second most of his career. Britt still has big-play ability, and he could be worth a late-round flier after a decent 2014 campaign.

Rams | Kenny Britt expected back with Rams

Wed, 11 Mar 2015 15:47:49 -0700

Free-agent WR Kenny Britt (Rams) is expected to re-sign with the St. Louis Rams soon, in the opinion of NFL Media columnist Michael Silver.

Fantasy Tip: Britt could form a nice combo with Nick Foles, the Rams' new starting quarterback after a trade Tuesday. Britt set a career high in 2014 with 48 catches to go along with 748 yards and three touchdowns. But he had more than 70 yards in just two games, which makes him tough to rely on for fantasy owners. Consider Britt a WR4 that has slightly more value in standard-scoring leagues because of his deep-threat potential.

Rams | Rams to decide on Chris Givens' future

Sun, 08 Feb 2015 17:19:14 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Chris Givens is scheduled to have a base salary of $1.574 million with a cap count of $1.698 million. The team might deem it too much if Givens is the fifth receiver in a group with WRs Kenny Britt, Brian Quick, Tavon Austin and Stedman Bailey. Releasing Givens would save the team $1.574 million.

Fantasy Tip: Whether he stays or goes Givens is unlikely to be much of an impact player for fantasy owners in 2015.

Rams | Begin contract talks with Kenny Britt

Sun, 25 Jan 2015 04:19:52 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt and his agents have started contract talks with the team. Britt, who has been in St. Louis just one season, indicated he wanted to remain with the club past 2014.

Fantasy Tip: This is a good sign for the Rams and for Rams fans in general. Britt is their best option at WR and, as previously indicated, he is a good low-end WR2 option in most leagues.

Rams | Kenny Britt wants to stay in St. Louis

Tue, 06 Jan 2015 15:21:50 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt said he wants to return to St. Louis next year. Britt will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Fantasy Tip: If Britt is re-signed, he'll likely remain the best fantasy option as far as Rams wide receivers are concerned. If he can stay healthy and play to his potential, he has low-end WR2 upside.

Rams | Kenny Britt probable

Wed, 10 Dec 2014 12:35:04 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (non-injury related) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Dec. 10, and is probable for Week 15.

Fantasy Tip: Britt ($3,400, 6.8%) has done next to nothing in recent weeks, totaling just five catches for 102 yards in his last three games. It's best to avoid him even at his cheap price on FantasyScore.

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (non-injury related) returned to practice Tuesday, Dec. 9, and was listed as a full participant after resting Monday, Dec. 8.

Fantasy Tip: Britt is a tempting FantasyScore play at just $3,400 (or 6.8 percent of the cap), but with just five grabs for 102 yards and no touchdowns over the past three games, he his fantasy appeal is negligible.

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (non-injury) did not participate in practice Monday, Dec. 8.

Fri, 28 Nov 2014 14:14:50 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (back) fully participated in practice Friday, Nov. 28, and is listed as probable for Week 13.

Fantasy Tip: Britt posted 128 receiving yards and one touchdown two weeks ago but followed that up with only 37 yards last week. Britt costs $4,100 on FantasyScore, but owners should consider avoiding him since he is facing a tough Oakland Raiders pass defense.

Thu, 27 Nov 2014 13:22:53 -0800

St. Louis Rams WR Kenny Britt (back) was a full participant in practice Thursday, Nov. 27.

Fantasy Tip: Britt ($4,100, 8.2% of cap) has 13 targets over his past two games, so there is upside. However, the Oakland Raiders have been a stringy against the pass of late. You should be able to find better options in his price range, too.
