A New Jersey police spokesman said that police still think Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt can provide them with information about a stabbing and shooting that took place last month, and Britt is still declining to do so. "Mr. Britt has ignored our request for a meeting to discuss additional questions the JCPD has pertaining to the investigation," police captain Edgar Martinez said. Britt's attorney, Robert Lane, has said that police told him Britt was not a suspect in the stabbing or shooting and that there was no chance of Britt being arrested.

Updating a previous item, Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt released a statement through a spokesman saying he will talk to police about a stabbing and shooting incident in New Jersey over the weekend. Police initially said Britt dropped his brother off at a hospital with a stab wound, and that Britt was in the area of a shooting that took place a few hours later. Britt's spokesman said the person who was stabbed was a close friend of Britt's, not his brother, and that Britt is willing to cooperate in the investigation.
