Jacksonville Jaguars general manager Gene Smith said Tuesday, March 27, that he is confident OT Eben Britton (back) will play in 2012, and that his back injury should not be an issue. "They have a better grasp on certain injuries than five or 10 years ago," Smith said. "The back is one. Guys are coming back and doing well and I'm comfortable he will."

Jacksonville Jaguars OT Eben Britton (back) was able to resume running Tuesday, Feb. 7, for the first time since being sidelined due to a back infection in mid-October. He said he will be ready for the 2012 season. "I'll be full-speed, 100 percent," Britton said.
