Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin reportedly attacked former Florida Gators wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales in 2008. Harvin grabbed him by the neck and threw him to the ground, but head coach Urban Meyer didn't discipline Harvin for the incident. Said Gonzales: "I think it's a little overblown. I mean, every great player wants his voice to be heard."

Updating previous reports, Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin (shoulder) played with a sprained acromioclavicular joint last year, and an MRI exam showed damage around the AC joint that will require minor arthroscopic surgery. Harvin will need a week or two to recover from the procedure, and he shouldn't miss any of the team's offseason workouts May 29.

Minnesota Vikings WR Percy Harvin said Monday, Jan. 2, that he plans to spend plenty of time at the team's facilities this spring and summer, and he encouraged his teammates to do the same. He said Monday, Jan. 2, that all the wide receivers would be attending the Organized Team Activities (OTAs) this offseason. "It's a must," Harvin said. "All the receivers will be there. I can't speak for the rest of the team. But that was one of coach's strong points in our closing and exit meeting."
