Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (knee) has been working without restrictions since the team began practicing this spring. Maclin is recovering from a torn ACL in his right knee that he suffered last July, and he has not experienced any setbacks since he began practicing. "I've done everything since April 21st, when we were able to get out here as a team," Maclin said. "I've been getting better each and every day, and I'm really happy with my progress."
Fantasy Tip: With DeSean Jackson getting shown the door in the offseason, Maclin should step into a sizeable role in Chip Kelly's high-powered offense. Granted, he has already torn his ACL twice, so there is some injury risk involved, but if he stays on the field, Maclin is definitely worthy of a starting spot on fantasy rosters.

The Philadelphia Eagles fully expect Jeremy Maclin (knee) to be ready to go for the start of the 2014 season, according to general manager Howie Roseman. "I think it depends on the player. We saw Adrian Peterson come back after six months, and did he win the MVP award after that? So I think it depends on the genetics. And all I know is what our doctors are telling us, and he's doing a great job in his rehab. We fully expect him to be ready to go once the season starts."

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (knee) fell to the ground holding his left knee during OTA events on Monday, June 2. While Maclin tore the ACL in his right knee last year, causing him to miss the entire season, this incident left him clutching his left knee. Maclin quickly got to his feet, and later noted that he felt fine.
Fantasy Tip: This would have been a disaster had Maclin done any damage to the left knee. For now things look okay, but keep in mind Maclin is coming back from right-knee issues and could be slow to return. Still, with DeSean Jackson's departure Maclin will be the top receiver on the squad if healthy.

The Philadelphia Eagles' organized team activities have displayed their intent to move a lot faster and increase the amount of plays run, in the observation of Nick Fierro. They were quick in moving to the line of scrimmage even before the whistle blew. "We're just running as many reps as we can so we can get it on tape and teach them," head coach Chip Kelly said. "... What we're trying to do is, can we get a maximum number of reps for everybody, because we do have three and four groups, both offensively and defensively? Let's just get a lot of stuff on tape so we can teach off it."
Fantasy Tip: Of course, such an overwhelming pace allowed the offense to dominate last year before they fell apart, for numerous reasons. Of course LeSean McCoy should have another elite year, but the other fantasy-relevant members of this offense in their second year with this system -- Nick Foles, Jeremy Maclin (despite his injury), Riley Cooper, Zach Ertz -- could be in line for huge steps forward with this continuity.

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin said he expects the offense to be fine even though they lost Washington Redskins WR DeSean Jackson this offseason. "[Head coach Chip Kelly] said it himself: The offense is not built around one guy," Maclin said. "We have multiple guys that go out there and make plays."

Philadelphia Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (knee) said he is fully recovered from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Maclin said if training camp started today, he would be a full go and have no limitations.
Fantasy Tip: Maclin is poised to play a big role in Chip Kelly's offense in 2014 if he can stay healthy. Maclin is likely a No. 3 wide receiver with plenty of upside.

Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said WR Jeremy Maclin (knee) is on schedule in terms of his recovery from a torn anterior cruciate ligament. Kelly said he is not sure if Maclin will be able to participate in offseason workouts but should be 100 percent by training camp.
Fantasy Tip: Maclin has not had much time in Chip Kelly's offense because of his injury but should have a solid role on offense in 2014. Owners should consider Maclin as a No. 3 wide receiver with some upside as he moves on from his injury.
