Osemele said he and Monroe have gelled since last year, adding that Monroe communicates well and tries to be on the same page. Monroe said Osemele is one of most conditioned players on the team and even has to be slowed down sometimes.

His base salary is $1 million in 2014, $5.5 million in 2015, $6.5 million in 2016, $6.75 million in 2016 and $6.75 million in 2017. His salaries for 2014 and 2015 are fully guaranteed.

There is growing speculation the Jacksonville Jaguars will either select Texas A&M OT Luke Joeckel or Central Michigan OT Eric Fisher with the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft. If Joeckel goes to the Kansas City Chiefs first overall, then the Jaguars could take Fisher. If the Chiefs go with Fisher, the Jaguars could nab Joeckel. Since the team already has a left tackle in OT Eugene Monroe, the draft pick would be moved to right tackle and general manager David Caldwell said he could defend taking a right tackle in the second slot.
