There is growing speculation the Jacksonville Jaguars will either select Texas A&M OT Luke Joeckel or Central Michigan OT Eric Fisher with the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL Draft. If Joeckel goes to the Kansas City Chiefs first overall, then the Jaguars could take Fisher. If the Chiefs go with Fisher, the Jaguars could nab Joeckel. Since the team already has a left tackle in OT Eugene Monroe, the draft pick would be moved to right tackle and general manager David Caldwell said he could defend taking a right tackle in the second slot.

Jacksonville Jaguars OG Will Rackley (ankle) was back working with the first unit at the three-day veteran minicamp this week, and coach Gus Bradley gave him good reviews after camp ended. "He's done a really good job," Bradley said Friday, April 19. He was working at left guard, and if healthy he would solidify the left side of the line between OT Eugene Monroe and C Brad Meester.

Jacksonville Jaguars DT Tyson Alualu and OT Eugene Monroe will both receive increases in their base salary in 2013 because of incentives in their contracts. Alualu will go from $1,722,500 to $1,822,500 and Monroe will go from $3.55 million to $3.8 million.

Jacksonville Jaguars OT Eugene Monroe is familiar with Buffalo Bills DE Mario Williams from when Williams was a member of the Houston Texans. The two will see each other frequently in Week 13. "His role now is strictly at end; it was different when he was at Houston," Monroe said. "But he looks more comfortable doing this than what he was doing in Houston."
